I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing. Players dont get injured like they did and last longer. I’m not blaming the players. It wasn’t their choice but if you think any player today would be as efficient as they are now if they switched the rules back, you’re kidding yourself. What would happen is the game would slow down and revert back into big men and posting. Lanes would be clogged up again, small guards like Curry wouldn’t go insides as much and if they did they would get hammered. So the smart thing would be inside outside. That’s the kind of effect rule changes do.
