@@lophan9125- So sad if true. But the lesson here- NO ONE can be perfect. Humans make bad decisions- mistakes. One of The greatest things about an upbringing of faith is learning that HUMANS are not always faithful, but the Lord IS!! So we LOVE other people, and appreciate them, but LEAN on GOD, who we can ALWAYS count on!! And THAT’S where Steph’s ultimate confidence comes from - his signature Bible verse- “ I can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, Who strengthens me!” Ultimate point- his parents gave him a great foundation, including knowledge about faith.

He was born with a lot of advantages being the son of an NBA player, but he worked his butt off at every level to get where he is and accomplish what he’s accomplished. He can still outwork most other NBA players on the court, despite being 15 years older than them.

It wasnt even a celebration people and the commentarors kept pointing out about how extremely excited Steph was from hitting the hole in 1 but actually really he wanted to get up to the hole as quickly as possible to make sure it really went in. That is so great.

I was privileged to see Steph play in the NCAA Regionals in Greensboro, NC March 2008. He scored 30 points in the wing against Georgetown University. I knew he was good, He’s turned out to be great, on & off the court!
