Stephen Curry is a great player and a future Hall of Fame player. He gets a lot of hate because of how the media has portrayed him in the prior two seasons. The media wants every emerging player to be better than LeBron James, and they get proved wrong every time. It's not fair to Curry, because all he does is go out on the court and play ball to help his team win games. This man is the greatest shooter ever and he deserves respect.

he said shooter, not 3point shooter. larry bird was an amazing shooter but at his time, nobody ever took that many 3 point shots cos its considered a low percentage shot. how dare you not include larry bird in the greatest shooter category. he got amazing shooting percentages. i'd say hes a better shooter than reggie miller.

The previous record for 3-pointers in a single season was 269. Curry has broken that 4 times and absolutely shattered that mark with 402 just last year. He's also the 4th player in NBA history to log a 50-40-90 season. Actually, it was a 50-45-90 season with another 50 from 30-feet out. No player in NBA history has ever done that. I really want to know what some people are smoking to think that either one of Allen, Miller, or Bird were better shooters than Curry.

Cristian Herrera Most of my hate for him ended when LeBron got his title in Cleveland. Steph was about to be the unstoppable force that would stop LeBron from finishing his story. Now that he blew the 3-1 lead, I'm fine with him. I hope he gets 7 titles.

This is crazy. This man can create a shot for himself and pull up anytime he wants. People say Klay is better? Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have about the same shooting % but the thing is Curry shoots way more than him and Klay doesn't create his own shots he needs to be set up by teammates. This man Curry is the greatest shooter of NBA history no question. The number 2 best shooter doesn't even compare to Curry, no debate needed. Done.

Correction: Klay is a STREAKIER scorer. You could argue that no player in NBA history gets hotter than Klay does. But Steph is FAR more consistent, partially because he has the ball in his hands more often and can create his own shot. Not to mention Steph's range is deeper than anyone's in NBA history, including Klay's.

Also if u look Steph needs to shift or set his center of gravity before he shoots because of his mechanics but he's not that great on catch and shot as he needs to either dribble once or at least bring the ball down before he shoots. Klay can fire from any stance because Clay's shot comes from his forearm and wrist. If u really line them up they sorta even out but Steph got him in the three point contest 2.1 but to say there's no compare is disrespectful

Kenshin Ushiroda not really. He was just barely worse when he played back then. But he wasn't the centerpiece that had all th control due to him being injured so often. So the offense was split between him and Elis.

Stephen is the most electrifying NBA player to come along in the last 20 years bar none!! He and a prime Jordan are amply described as two apex predators, an orca (Jordan), and a jaguar (Curry). Both players had very different strengths, as do the two animal analogies used, but both men in their prime didn't take second place to any peer.

Brothers... Sisters.. The hatrid, towards Curry, is reminiscent of the Jordan Era. Back in 1984, the Best player in the World, was Kareem. Dr J, was the GOAT. For real. When Jordan hit the scene, you had Magic+Kareem+Bird. Hence an Entire Decade of Lakers-vs-Celtics. When Jordan hit the scene, the Entire NBA had to change. Jordan was just that Dominant, from first game. Changed the entire League overnight. Changed rules. Changed defenses. Won 6 Titles. Then SHAQ- CHANGED EVERYTHING, again. Changed the way defense's were played. Offenses' He was literally Unstoppable.- Changed the game. Then Lebron.- Changed the Game. Rules changed, got much slower, radically different.. Current GOAT--- Steph Curry.. HE is just getting the next version of heat, that every other Game Changing player has gotten. Enjoy it folks.. I experienced the Jordan era, to which those were some of the greatest games, ever. But this dude has changed everything. I have to admit, he puts some serious competition to Micheal Jordan. He eventually will be stopped, but just like other greats. He is still young, and can further enhance it. Just like MJ did. He is disrupting the league, to which we will start to see alot of other new players, being compared to Curry now, versus LeBron.

yup.. and the comparisons are already happening.. look at the hawks drafting Trae Young because that's what Travis Schlenk sees in him.. don't get it twisted though... i don't think steph will be touched for a long time but the basketball world has changed immensely in the last 3 or 4 years. The global impact that steph has in regards to basketball is very understated. He'll be praised once he retires and people will def include him in the greatest of all time conversations

Kasper210 I like Curry 1000000x more than Lebron, and while it's true that if Curry was Lebron's size he'd be the GOAT, but if Lebron was Curry's size he'd still be a good point guard, he would probably be like John Wall. Now if you took away his athletic abilites then he would be a slightly above average starting PG, still in the league though.

4:00 thats exactly right! Hes not just catching and shooting 3's like Ray Allen. Hes making more 3's than any other player in history while defenders are hanging all over him. He literally changed the game. Look at all the teams who shoot 3's now, or take shots from the logo. Teams strategize their whole offense around that shit now.
