Our special train ride: Our wedding day, on a vintage steam train. We hired two private carriages, one for us and one for our guests. The steam train felt alive as it took us to our ceremony location, and then to our reception. It sat behind us as we said our vows, and beside us during the reception. ❤

I am adopted and never knew my bio parents... but I had beautiful straight red hair and I always loved Irish traditional music. I even played penny whistle and flute. Hi Stephen, loving this train journey story. I've used d enterprise alot on trips to both Dublin and Belfast. I live in a village called dunleer, inbetween dundalk and Drogheda, my family live in dundalk! Small world!! It is indeed a beautiful train journey thru our glorious country. The east coast is spectacular. I listen to ur sleep stories daily, really enjoyed yesterday, ur road trip with wife and timmy d dog to Italy, I will need to listen again as only heard half of it, asleep In no time. Myself and husband been holidaying past few yrs in beautiful cottage in gap of DUNLOE in kerry. Stunning part of d country. Feel like u back in time. I find up around d actual gap of DUNLOE so spiritual, magical! And all around Killarney national Park, amazing.. All d lakes, torc waterfall, ladies view, Brandon's cottage etc etc so much beauty, nature, d deer, can't list it all. ❤. I love all your stories. I’ve been an insomniac for many years and nothing works at putting me to sleep. I’ve tried different medications and other sleep techniques to no avail. I just so happened stumbled across your page and started listening to your stories and they have helped tremendously. I listen every night. I haven’t gotten through a single one yet 😉💤. If I can request another idea for a story I’d say maybe the rainbow bridge where people can meet their beloved pets again or a night desert walk under a full moon. Thank you!

I just came back from a holiday in Aviemore, just my dog & I, we travelled on the Caledonian sleeper train & it was one of the most magical trips ever, getting into your pjs & snuggling up, being rocked to sleep, the excitement of a new place when you wake, The anticipation of seeing snow, we arrived on a snowy platform, trains are the best way to travel ❤

Well for me the story telling us about The Orient Express is very special. My parents had planned to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary on this train, the trip of a lifetime. Unfortunately my dear Dad passed away the year before that could happen. My Mum has now passed too and this story makes me imagine them still taking this trip on the other side…. Ok so let's see if I get into this one before I fall to sleep. I'm 50 and have suffered with insomnia on and off all my life. I've had between 2 and 5 hours the last few nights . I'm hooked.

I haven't been on many trains lately but one special memory I have was my first train ride when I was a kid on an old steam engine. My brother and I had on these matching conductor outfits and he was more into trains than I was, but I remember seeing how happy he was to be there and it just takes me back to simpler times.

A few years ago I travelled from Crewe to Aberdeen by train. It was a lovely experience. I have also travelled on the Ghan here in Australia. Spectacular and one of the longest trains. I love trains!

I myself has only ever been on the train to the North Pole and it was only about a 20-minute train ride if that. However my grandfather loved trains and would have tracks all through out the house with the entire neighborhood as a nativity scene as his route. I would absolutely love to travel across the country on a train. That would be absolutely the most wonderful experience I have ever had

Growing up I never really gave a second thought to trains other than the little winter villages around Christmas time. After I grew up and started to ride them when I would go visit family I grew to ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM. It's my favorite way to travel and I would choose that over a plane any day.

I really, really like these train stories! I take a train from West Glacier, MT to North Dakota each year and I love it. I love the sound of the train on your story, and of course the rain☝️ And because I know you want to know, I don't like getting into anything like a space ship or submarine.
