I love listening to interviews with Stephen. He has inherited his father’s sincerity and humble attitude. He always interviews extremely well, extremely interesting to listen to on any sibject and his love and support for his father always comes over so well. His parents should be so proud of him. I don’t know whether he realises what an inspiration to others he actually is.

I am yet to watch a bad interview. Never heard of him but if you interview someone I know it's going to be good. Very interesting guy. Here is someone who could have been a spoilt brat his whole life but is not. Decent and intelligent man. Made a career for himself and did not either hate or took advantage of his dad. Lovely how he speaks about his dad.

Congratulations to you Stephen, you've been on a fantastic journey and have learned so much. I sing and play guitar at open mics. I was a teenybopper when the Bee Gees hit the big time and I loved their music and learned guitar listening to their records. You sound like you really have your feet on the ground, so to speak. I can relate to a lot of what you say about playing guitar and learning through experience. I still play at open mics just for the love of music and sharing music. You found your right path. Best wishes and good luck with whatever you get into from here on. I was a teenybopper then, I'm 69 years old and playing and singing everyday, in my room or at open mics. Good Luck Man.

This might seem a bit sad...but I'm curious as to how his Dad dealt with Stephen's stumble with addiction...it seems that Stephen pulled himself out of a hell he could've gotten swallowed up in...that would have been "it" for Barry. Thank God Stephen has come full circle and is absolutely doing great. Love seeing him on stage with his Dad...and other Gibb family members. They are a Musical Dynasty.

Great interview! He is so interesting to listen to. He is so thoughtful and open with his answers about himself and his thoughts. Truly inspiring. He has so many of his fathers qualities...he's open, humble, passionate, and creative, etc. He is definitely his fathers son. I saw him on Getting Uncomfortable and was floored by some of his responses. He comes across there and here as a genuinely caring, humble and nice man. (In an interview, his Uncle Maurice was asked the describe his brother Barry; he said that he was very compassionate, loving and protective. That he totally believes in what he is doing and if he can't do it right, he won't do it.)....This sounds a lot like Stephen.

I only looked into the Bee Gees family recently. With 5 kids Barry and Linda have a huge family, plus all the grandchildren. Then the other brothers children and grandchildren. So sad Andy only saw his daughter once. Plus all the Gibb sibings wives families. Of course their sister Lesley too. I don't like Stephen's kind of music but he seems just like his dad, humble. It's also sad how addiction has marred their lives. Fame, success, money, it means nothing when you die. The Bible says our lives are like a vapour. You don't know when your number is up. Andy's death was tragic and he was very talented, but folks, there is an eternal afterlife, so you choose where your soul goes after death. Death has no sting for a true Christian, as we have hope for a future with Jesus. This life is so temporal, even if you live to 100, eternity is a whole lot longer. The Bible also says to lay up treasures in Heaven, not on earth. The things of this life on earth will be destroyed eventually. It's heartbreaking when someone who is unsaved dies. Not everyone goes to Heaven. Do you know, it was Lucifer, satan, who was in charge of all music in Heaven, the worship to God by angels. One day true believers will join them. But because of pride, Satan wanted to be God, he was thrown out of Heaven with a third of rebellious angels. Who are the evil spirits now. Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in Heaven. He hates God, and counterfeits God's music with evil music. As he tries to counterfeit everything beautiful God designed. So, the Bible says, Satan deceives people, by making evil things look good. Even 'Christian contemporary music' is ungodly and not true worship to God. Satan has infiltrated churches today, and he 'comes as an angel of light' deceiving so called Christians. There is but a remnant of true believers on earth now. Catholicism is pagan, Babylonian religion, not Christianity. There are many pagan, false religions and cults and heretical churches. Stephen, if you want true peace in your life, true joy, accept Jesus free gift of salvation, repent, with sorrow for your sins. Jesus can still use your musical talent for Him. Time is short, soon true believers will be caught up to be with Jesus in Heaven and the 7 year Great Tribulation will start, which is God's wrath upon the earth and all wickedness. If you love your family, lead them to Jesus and salvation too. I've always thought your dad would be a wonderful Christian. He would no longer fear dying either.

@@caribgrl1 What kind of Christian? The Bible talks about those who are lukewarm. It's not enough to just say you are a Christian and wear a cross. You have to believe on Jesus Christ and repent (turn away) from sin. Keep God's commandments. You're life has to be holy. God's word says you must be born again to see the kingdom of Heaven. Singing, making good music, being nice... doesn't get you in. The person probably thinks Barry isn't Christian cause there really isn't any evidence. Is he really born again? Or does he have a loose idea of what being a Christian is? I know this will surprise many but Barry and his brothers were/are in second marriages with living 1st spouses. In the eyes of God, that's adultery.Divorce don't end a marriage to God. Read the Bible. It's in there. Read the gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. My understandingis Barry1st wife is still living. I'm sure he loves Linda but no one is worth going to Hell over. You have to count the cost when it comes to salvation and living a righteous life for the Lord.If someone is truly serving the Lord, tough decisions need to be made. Meaning there is sin that one would have to turn away from that may be hard.
