Soon to return Stephen 👏🏼 1x year to go !! This was the longest ban handed down in the sport until Liang Wenbo and Li Hang received lifetime bans in 2023. Lee appealed the decision, but his appeal was dismissed in May 2014, meaning that his ban will remain in force until 12 October 2024, also the date of his 50th birthday.

Can’t wait for his return to snooker this year. He clearly still enjoys it.

To become a pro again Lee will have to enter and win in Q School 2025 in order to play in the 25/26 season.

@@adrianwright8685 Well it’s worth a go. Nothing to lose.

@@underneonloneliness2 Well I'd like to see that. BUT he'd have to up root his past 10 years of life elsewhere - not so easy at 50, win Q-School, pay out for a much more expensive life - travel, accomodation - and for no guarantee of any gain. And he also owes WST £125,000 for legal fees and fines - I don't know how forgiving they will be about that!

I would very much like him to return. To err is human and forgive divine. Who hasnt made a mistake? Good player. Hes going through soo much and deserves to catch a break. Best wishes to his family.

@@Stop-All-War wow there’s no chance of him ever really getting on tour then again? It would be some comeback story. I didn’t realise wenbo and hang were both banned for life

@@JohnJaySnookerChannelI just don't understand how Ronnie can walk away from frames because he's not feeling it, yet Stephen missed a few shots and gets a lifetime ban...if anything Ronnie is worse!
@JohnJaySnookerChannel7 ай бұрын
@@TheVanderfulLife Ronnie is simply picking and choosing what tournaments to play in and at his age and with his achievements who can blame him. He does enough to stay in the top 10, he’s still number 1!! But I do feel for the fans that buy tickets in advance to see him participate and that’s the sad reality.
@TheVanderfulLife7 ай бұрын
@@JohnJaySnookerChannel Fully support his decision in picking and choosing tournaments - but when he played Hendry years back and forfeited the game only 5 frames in, that to me is worse than missing a few pots. (Even if it's fully justifiable with the happenings in his private life)
