I don't mean this to sound negative. If you are older, then you are lucky. I don't know how old you are, but I was in a fraternity in college. 20 years later I went to a reunion at a baseball game and I could only identify a couple of guys by sight - then when they talked I could figure it out. Now we are just a bunch of old men, but because of social media I know what they each look like. Mostly they have gray hair, gray beards and weigh twice as much. When people reach late 40s, early 50s their faces get plump and even if you wouldn't consider them fat or out of shape, they lost the thin, trim youthful body. I think that is why you don't recognize Stephen. In their 60s and 70s men either get thinner or many of them die. I know lots of fat people and I know lots of old people, but I don't know any old fat people. I went to those guys funerals already. For your sake I hope in 10 years you look the same as today.

In defense of OP: I tried to make some bootleg audio tracks of mostly the same material back in October '21, but my toasted self was far too audible to post any of it. Funny thing was that the audience was full of dudes singing along just as badly (myself included). I never felt bad for not providing the best possible stolen material for people that didn't show up and support the artist.

For anyone who wants a pristine recording of the old tunes, there is the "El Rey" show. Proper recordings of the new tunes should be on the way from Sir Lynch :-) Many shows I record for the audience, but this one was more for me. Had to troll Stevie.

Dude, thank you so much for uploading this! It was my birthday yesterday and this is the best present I got (even if you singing along drove me nuts from time to time) I absolutely love Stephen Lynch and had no idea he had new material! Side note: I love the way the crowd exploded when he started playing Craig..I even cheered out loud at home... now my wife thinks I've lost my shit.

I like using a secret video recorder, or SVR app. Doesn't have the screen on, so sometimes my angles aren't good. I also have a few other devices for when I roam around ;-)

This guy is clearly a fan so why would he hurt stephens brand with low quality bootleg video, let Stephen choose his own quality of release. Someone who is exposed to Stephen this way might miss out on liking him , like showing someone Star Wars on a old small black and white tv they might think I don’t think it’s good over hyped but did the movie get a fair chance. It’s sad that such a loving fan is hated so much by the artist they like. Things like this upset artists for good reasons ,if you like him take your self celebration out of the equation and ask yourself would the artist like this or maybe do a comment vid with clips linking to higher quality reproductions you know like if he was your personal friend and would ask of expect of you.

When the world is already hyper political, it does distract from the show. Either way, this was my second time seeing him and it was fun to look him in the eye and make voices most of the show 😉 Maybe I'll do a more "serious" recording next tour. Fingers, eyes, and everything else crossed.

Stephen Lynch Sure Does Rotate His On Stage Players. Is He Hard To Work With ? Mark Teich, Charlie King, And Courtney Jaye All Came And Went And The Show Has Not Really Changed Very Much At All From The Very Beginning Live At The El Rey To Now. Same Act Same Old Stale Jokes Same Old Same Old Routine And Stephen Did Not Say Much Except Mark Teich Died And That They Sang This Song For Years And Years. No Rest In Peace, I Miss Him, Nothing. No Tribute No Thanks At All. Did They Part Badly Or Something And Not Remain Friends Or Even Close.
