+Ada banana IKR! :D I told myself the exact same thing! They should make more of these interviews with him. With James Franco, the interviews are kinda inpredictable like he just talked about his brothers and next thing you know, he's talking about how he made a dirty version of "Rebel Without A Cause" and found it funny. But at the same time he's kinda predictable because he's either chill, relaxed, weird, cool and akward all at the same time, or sometimes he's just bored and basically says nothing, when he's in group usually, like for the movie called "The Magician Of Oz" with Mila Kunis on a Russian talk-show (even if the things that were said were (probably) translated to them in earbuds). Anyway, even Stephen Colbert who's usually pretty witty seemed quite troubled and disturbed by some of James Franco's questions (especially the ones with his daughters, which were ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS by the way!) and answers, and also because James Franco is really unpredictable. And the two talking together was just HILARIOUS and AWESOME! Stephen Colbert should make more interviews with James Franco and it's just so funny to see Colbert's "killer wit" being disturbed by the "unpredictable" James Franco! :D

If anyone's curious, that Mexican saying is "chivo brincado, chivo quedado," which roughly translates to "a goat that has been jumped over isn't going anywhere." The goats would be the siblings, and being "jumped over" is when a younger sibling gets married before you do.

Is he okay, really felt the emotional brokenness between the lines of quips and jokes - I think Stephen hit the nail on the head with square in the joke. I don't know :/ Has me a bit concerned about his psychological and emotional health. And that flawless smile and expression looks great, but it seems to help him utilize a completely different persona for his biz to avoid the conflict of dealing with other emotions... i feel ya' Franco. Seems too sentimental and melodramatic in between his laughs and jest. Hang in there? Maybe needs to stay away from the spotlight and do some soul-searching... got me concerned foshoooo

I don't know - I just got the impression he was depressed - and maybe a little passive and self-conscious not to admit it openly or fully because he's on a late-night show... It's not easy to discern when one is doing their best to maintain a reputation and an image of self-perfection for show biz. I think he has the humility to admit it, but is afraid of being judged because of his fame and platform he's standing on. When i was depressed i used to cram things to stay as productive as possible and contemplate on other things to steer clear of the internal issues. It isn't a healthy state to be in. It just felt all to familiar, the vibe i was getting. And I could be completely off the bulls-eye. Hope him well, and he finds his way. I remember he had his peaks and lows - and I am an avid James Franco fan, so this isn't anything insinuative or out of pure boredom. Just something i noticed, and perhaps other bystanders or viewers may not notice for the sole purpose of entertainment and turning these people into mere products of marketing. They have souls too y'know, and they are in a vulnerable state most of the time. It just didn't seem right. Oh man and that laugh... seems a little to desperate for normality. I've seen his other interviews... just seems a bit off this time 'round - it's never this awkward with him.

James is super chill and occasionally a good actor, but he's got to stop making so much garbage. Quality over quantity. Be a Daniel Day Lewis, don't be a James Franco.
