Worked at a Chick-fil-A, and an order like this would come in every other day, sometimes with a very short or zero notice ahead of time. We'd have plenty of days with 200+ chicken sandwiches. The busiest days were football game days in the fall, where we'd get multiple massive orders of 100+. The kitchen would be absurdly busy and crowded because not only do you have these orders, but you have a drive-thru line wrapping around the building twice with 4 outside order takers, and your 5 order takers inside with the line inside wrapping around and out the door. Plus you get plenty of other orders coming in through the mobile app that just pop up and door dash orders. It's so funny to me when I hear people freaking out because 100+ sandwiches was almost a daily occurance. A 50+ order was guaranteed daily.

You and your team are all stars, keeping a calm and level head is top priority when there's a large order and others coming back on top of it, you guys nailed it.

There's no way for BK to balance out sauces applied to our burgers, so there's inconsistencies in every burger/location, so is the quality of the food unfortunately. It's all based off how the manager runs and operates each franchise, poor management results in poor quality of each product sold. More bk franchises need better management, as many of their locations serve products past the holding times set by the system they use to regulate product freshness, and quality. I do agree with your statement, but everyone's burger to sauce ratio is different, that's why you can order it with heavy ketchup, or heavy mayo.

TBH I miss working at Mcds. The kitchens are designed so well that you can mostly run on autopilot. My old location broke a few records back in the day. Most big macs sold during a lunch rush, and most biscuit sandwiches served during a "Free biscuit day" You guys seem pretty experienced, but a few small changes could make the line quicker and smoother: - The warming trays need to have labels. There is too much time spent pulling trays to look for your meat. - As tempting as it is to run 5 sandwiches at a time, it really backs up the line. If you were to try the same with 2 at a time, I'm sure it will be faster. - If you have 2 stacks of cheese, you should be able to grab one in each hand rather than picking up the stack; saving a redundant hand. With that said; amazing work, and appreciate the footage! This brings me back to some of the best times of my life!

@@Shifty319 so you’re telling me you don’t care when you get a “maccas” (darn you Australians and your funny little abbreviations!) burger and half the slice of cheese is hanging outside of the bun? It’s just laziness dude. You don’t have to be a McDonald’s employee to know that half the cheese hanging off the burger is bs. And sure, I could easily show them how to put cheese on the center of a burger, and so could any three year old. It takes exactly the same amount of time to put the cheese on the center of the burger as it does to put it halfway hanging off the burger, so there is absolutely zero excuse for not doing it the right way. It’s not like you have to pull out a ruler and measure the bun and size of cheese and all that for 15 extra seconds in order to put the cheese actually on top of the meat. And don’t act like this is some wild demand to ask for the burger to look and be constructed properly like a real burger. Cheese being on top of the burger is basically the main thing about a burger, and cheese hanging halfway off the bun just ruins everything. Don’t excuse laziness that quite literally takes the exact same amount of time and energy to do the right way. There is no valid excuse for not doing it, and I’d love to hear you try to come up with one! Genuinely curious as to how you will try to refute this.

Back then I was too young, that I did not began, even from a single second to thought about it and all that it could imply in the process regarding the pressure put onto some fellows behind the stove. Now that I've seen your video Stephen, I realize all of it wholly, and I feel quite a lot of shame and guilt for all the staff at the McDonald's we ordered from... You and your co-workers took it like champs ! AS I hope my fellows people did the same. Kudos to that !

I worked for McDonald's for 3 years, and it wasnt a bad job. However it was a 24hr store, and we'd get late night customers with the munchies. I worked the overnight shift, which only had 4 people including the MIC (manager in charge). So it get hectic at times, but watching these vids brings back memories of senior year of highschool working with the boys.

I used to work for Wendy's back from 2010-2022 (high school through college) and my largest order was 40 triple baconators, fifty homestyle chickens, fifty spicy chickens and 100 crispy chickens. It took us over an hour to get it all done due to cook times and how we could only safely fit 30 homestyle or spicy in the pressure fryer at the same time. the burgers we used the entire grill fully loaded multiple times until we were done. It was a football team bus and they didnt call in advance.
