I’ve been struggling with fear and guilt. This song brought me to tears today and reminded me of the love that Christ has for me. I’ve despaired, but I won’t anymore. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but Jesus loves you so much. If you trust in Him, you’re saved. He’ll never let you go. I pray this comment will find someone who needs to hear these words.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

My testimony - As a kid, I was brought up at a Penn Hills church called "Penn Hills Missionary Alliance". I attended Sunday Church Service and Wednesday Youth Groups basically every week up until my early teen years. I even read the Bible from front to back at the age of 10 (not an easy read for such a young punk lol). I also often memorized Bible Verses to earn my way into Edinboro Bible Camp. I had a lot of fun with all of those experiences. Anyways, my pap who was a devout Christian and the "rock" that held the family together, passed away when I was only 13 years old. I see now that my parents were going to church to please him, not God. Ironically, after he died, my descent into a life controlled by sin started to get out of control. I got into marijuana, alcohol, pornography, and began to disrespect my parents like it was my job. Into my twenties, things only got much much worse. I was a marijuana dealer for 7 years, slept with about 100 women (thank God I don't have any STD's), disrespected my parents to the point of face to face confrontation, lied to people, was addicted to porn and sex, served 5 months in Westmoreland County Prison, etc. Basically every step I took was an assault against God. Fast forward to more recent times - I was in a 4 1/2 year relationship with an older woman. I truly thought we were in love, I really did. I now see that that was not the case as she lacked the capacity to forgive which is not love. She would constantly throw my past in my face (as many of you are currently guilty of doing). Anyways, she discovered my porn issue and instead of talking about it in a compassionate and caring manner, she attacked me calling me names and even making false accusations. Then, she said something that really told me she was not a true Christian - She said you could fall too far from God's Grace to receive His mercy, which is NOWHERE in the Bible. (Go Ahead, read it. I dare you lol) Now don't get me wrong, women view watching porn as cheating when you are in a relationship. I get that and I admit that I was wrong for my actions. So anyway, she broke up with me. At first my mourning was for her, but gradually it turned into a mourning of my own soul. I was truly disgusted with the person I was. I no longer wanted to hurt myself or others around me any longer. I cried for several hours on my hands and knees like a little baby asking God to have mercy on me. Then I started watching KZfaq videos about how to get closer to God. Then I fell asleep for about 3 to 4 hours. When I woke up, I saw on my phone a video which I had not even selected! (I was asleep after all and had not physically touched my phone at all). It was a KZfaq video by Pastor Groeschel about "Spiritual Warrior- Your Porn Battle Plan". I couldn't believe it at first! I knew then that God was listening, God cared, and God loved me! It was at that moment that I started to believe which in turn opened my heart to Jesus. I then got on my knees all over again and wept like a little baby asking Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I made one key promise though...I promised to God that I would surrender it all and put Him first in my life above all, even my own family. Almost immediately after that, I felt a sudden surge of love and strength flow into my heart like a mighty rushing river! It was purely supernatural....literally knocked the breath out of me several times and gave me goosebumps all over my body. I became a Christian on August 16, 2020 - same day that Elvis died ironically. Now I possess love and strength that I never knew were possible before. I am now literally willing to die for my King Jesus Christ if need be....if it serves to glorify His Almighty Name. I have encountered much spiritual attack in the last 2 weeks or so (Satan is mad that he lost the battle over my heart/soul). In fact, even my own family members and former friends have lashed out at me over my newfound Faith. That's okay though because they also persecuted Jesus about 2,000 years ago so I am in good company. Thank you for reading and God bless you all!

Oh, what a lovely song! It always lifts my spirits. I have to mention Teresa Janette Brock, a remarkable woman who changed my life. I read an interesting article about her, and out of curiosity, I looked up her name online. I found her website and decided to reach out. Teresa was incredibly kind and introduced me to a business venture that I never imagined I would enjoy. Her guidance and support were invaluable, helping me find a new sense of purpose and community. In Christ alone we stand. I am a carer to two autistic kids. I've had a migraine now over a week been in a lot if pain. Upset but not defeated here I stand in Christ. His love comforts me. My family struggled but we not broken still a lot of love in our home despite the present circumstances. Last week a fear gripped my heart and my mind. I was trying to cast out that spirit of fear, but fear was still there and one morning, God reminded me of this song. That phrase sticked to my mind, to my heart, and thank God, the spirit of fear that gripped my heart and tormented me was totally disappeared. JESUS CONTROLS MY/OUR DESTINY. AMEN

I love the Celtic sound. I have had the privilege of singing this song with an excellent musical group about a hundred times and it never gets old. Jesus Christ will be glorified, and my prayer is that we all give Him the glory and honor He so rightly deserves. I am privileged to be running for lieutenant governor of the state of North Dakota, along with Michael Coachman running for Governor. He wants Christ to be back in the government and the schools and in all the lives of the people where He deserves to be.

We all need to get saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve. Listening again, and praying again for my Scottish piper ex-husband, and his family. Been divorced longer than we were married, but I still ask the MOST HIGH GOD for his salvation. And that of his family. Have not actually spoken to him in almost 20 years, but pray that YESHUA/JESUS gives him a dream or vision to show HIM that HE is real, and coming soon. The pipes remind me of him....which is how we met all those years ago. 💕

This is my anthem! When I hear this song, it reminds me that Christ has already won the victory. And to hear it in a different style from a group across the other side of the world makes me realise His victory is universal.

I am a 33 year old autistic Christian, who is often times anxious and sorrowful. I'm happy at times too, don't get me wrong, but when I get to feeling bad, I really do feel like I've fallen into a deep pit. My father died 4 years ago, and I live with my widowed mother, and take care of her with my brother. My mom can mostly take care of herself, she's just sad from losing my dad. One thing that I keep praying to God about is having a family of my own. I wish for a wife and children, but with each day that passes I begin to wonder if that dream will come true. All of my friends have families, and whenever I'm around them, I can't help but feel like some kind of weird alien that doesn't fit in. It's silly, I know, but I just want so badly for Jesus to guide me to this desire, despite my doubts. I have a girlfriend, so that's something. If anyone is reading this, prayers are always appreciated and welcomed. 🙏✝️
