A lot of time and effort has been spent to make these video's. I will continue uploading free stuff. But if you like, you can make a donation:

Thanks to one of my subscribers I found out that the 4th bar at 1:02 is tabbed wrong: it should be between 12th and 14th frets. It is played correctly though. Oops! Sorry.
Any requests for new songs? Comment below!

Hi there, I'm Haldor from the Netherlands. I play various instruments, and I want to share with you my arrangements and musical ideas.
I will post a new video every month. Different styles, different arrangements. From classical to jazz, from funk to rock.
Please give a thumbs up if you like it, and leave a comment if you have suggestions for new songs / pieces to play.
And don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss any new video's. Thanks!

"Born to Be Wild" is a song first performed by the band Steppenwolf. The song was initially released in 1968, but it was subsequently included in many compilation albums and soundtracks. The first of these was the soundtrack for the movie Easy Rider, released in 1969.

Extra merit for using an "easy" E6-E7 shape, despite your fingers being so long you could double wrap them around the neck.

Good tab and play through. Straight to the point, no talking, just playing. Just the way it should be. Thanks for the video! I needed to learn this song a few hours before a gig.

This is a great job! The way you are playing the 6th and 7th in the main riff will not only save my hand from serious overstretching. I has showed me a new relation between two chord shapes I knew well (and that's always a lot of pleasure) and given me an unexpected (for me, up to this day) solution for future situations. Thanks a lot!

Sounds great, just like the original. Bit strange that the original guitarplayer (Michael Monarch?) plays the opening around the 10th position so it seems from a live performance. But hard to tell. This fingering works just great though

Thanks! I actually used a regular Roland Cube 20GX without any effect pedals (gain chanel, metal or metal stack, can't remember). I plugged the Roland Cube via recording out in the audio interface and maybe I did a little EQ afterwards. That's just it! :-)

I think this was recorded on a cube20 with the default overdrive (not too much!). You don't always need the fancy gear :) Some time ago so can't remember exactly.
