Clark was resurrected via Mother Box, the same one that was so powerful it atomized him before the Flash undid that. Also was given a specially designed black suit to capture more solar energy; thus making him far more powerful. If anything, Superman had a massive advantage in the fight.

How did Steppenwolf get better armor than in any video game out today (short of enchanted)? It's so badass! He beat Aquaman under water, wtf. Black Adam would've loved this battle tho. Boss besarnya bisa teleport kemana-mana tak terkalahkan seolah-olah dia itu spt jelmaan Dajjal di Akhir Zaman hingga akhirnya dikalahkan oleh Superman yg diibaratkan dlm kisah nyata nanti oleh Nabi Isa AS berkat izin Allah SWT. Tapi Dajjal sesungguhnya so pasti lebih dahsyat daripada ini. Gue suka banget film animasi, fantasi kayak gini sejak kecil. Sudah pasti pembuatan visual efek sangat rumit dan butuh kerja keras tim yang solid. Honesty I think the 2017 JL's Steppenwolf can beat/kill this Steppenwolf. Arrows didn't do much to his armor or skin. His armor is strong enough against Superman's heat ray while Snyder's Steppenwolf got his cactus looking suit destroyed and a horn. Wanted to keep fighting in the great war and wasn't damaged like Uxas. Survived the battle of JL while this one died.

Even though Steppenwolf was just as powerful as Endgame Thanos, Superman was still unstoppable, think about it, like the Mother Boxes already made Superman more powerful, but that combined with millions of kilojoules of solar radiation just makes Superman really OP, morr powerful than Endgame Captain Marvel
