Same I’m 16 and I really want to become a lawyer

Yes, we are all going to become lawyers one day! Even though your school may be small and lack difficult classes, there is always online options you can check out. This is always something I’ve been worried about affecting my career because I go to a small school as well. Recently I’ve gotten the opportunity to enrol in challenging classes along with extra credit classes online, and all I can say is it will definitely benefit you if you check it out. I don’t know about anywhere else but if you live in Canada all online courses are absolutely free if you sign up with a school counsellor!!

@@thiaguinhogameplays Every time I had a question, my co-workers would not even try to hide their frustration or annoyance. When I first started working their they said I would work for one attorney as a file clerk but made me be a legal secretary and a file clerk for both attorneys after one week. They showed me how to do one task one time, and called that training. They played favorites a lot too. It was just a hot mess and awful.

It is a nice modern music but it is kind of little loud and it gets annoying because you have to pay attention to the talk more and it can get stressful.

Just try to get b’s and a’s that will do it, you can also get c’s but you just need your gpa to be over 3.1

When going into highschool, try to maintain at least a 3.0 gpa so you can start on dual enrollment. It saves TIME and money.

Same sis. Watch all Buzzfeed law videos. I think you need to be good in all grades, but really good in English and stuff like that. And get a good LSAT score, then write your personal statement etc. Also it's better to go to a community law school. Way less debt.

The steps mentioned in the video. They are all required in the US after graduating high school.

@@nimrazaman5957 In the video, she's explaining the steps that you have to take in order to become any lawyer including a criminal lawyer. 1. After you graduate from high school, you have to go to college. Upon graduation from college, you get a 4-year bachelor of arts or science degree. 2. After you graduate from college, you have to go to an aba accredited law school. Law school is a 3-year professional school. 3. Between your last year of law school and the year after graduation (generally), you have to take the MPRE exam, the Bar exam, and the NY law exam or an equivalent for another state. You have to take all of these steps before you are considered for admission as a lawyer. 4. You then have to complete the application and go through the character and fitness process. She explains each step thoroughly in the video, but you have to do all of that before becoming a lawyer. Is that helpful?

Jay Madness A lot of lawyers get their bachelors in political science. But it doesn’t really matter, just as long as you get good grades. Then you take the LSAT (you can get 0- 180 but you want at least a 160) to get into law school ✌🏽

It's the former. In America, you graduate from college then you go on to professional school. In total 7 years.

I accepted a job offer in NY, but I want to keep the option open for going back home. I would hate to have to stop working and study for the bar all over again so I rather just take them back to back.

I'm still going through the process now. By the time I'm actually sworn in it will have been almost 8 years (including college years).

Ah, I'm not very familiar with the process for online degrees or community college. I know someone that went to Columbia law and started at a community college, but he transferred from the community college to a 4-year institution after a year or two.

That’s right! It usually takes time to become a judge, but you can graduate and become a lawyer.

If you’re considering your high school diploma then yes. You have to graduate from high school and college.

Easier than that. Get an associates in paralegal and enter into Washington’s law clerk program.
