Adding an Ayre DAC to my system last year may have been the single largest step change I've ever heard.

Been having KX-R twenty for almost 2 years. Best preamp I have ever heard, it also works in a way that I really like. I still get excited when hearing those clicky sounds from the dials. Also notice how their audio NAS is branded as DELA not Melco, that is only sold in Japan domestically, guess they imported that NAS directly from Japan.

I think what's next is a return to beautiful industrial design. I'm interested in the Marantz Model 30 & 30N because of how striking they look. Everyone has gone with the minimalist box with a random incoherent mix of fonts and graphics and off the shelf components like 16 segment LED displays.

These guys stand behind their products. Big plus.

There is something about this company that is truly unique. They have some innovations that few if any others have and they are small independent and all the manufacturing is done on sight. My dream integrated would be the AX-5.
