At the age of 84 I discovered this song, never let it be said that the more modern songs are nothing but a noise. The excitement that this number brings to the audience is phenomenal, even when I do the cover on Karaoke the audience goes wild especially when I point a finger at the ladies and gents to identify them as THE ONE. I am a hit every time.

This song should be mandatory in every 'road trip', 'summer nostalgia' & 'coming of age' playlists.

Not many bands that can make a live version sound as good as the CD album version .....totally amazing 👍👏👏

I was 50 when this song was released, and I still remember thinking ' thank heaven.....thank heaven that someone still knows how to do decent rock and roll'. Almost twenty years later and the song still sounds utterly glorious. Went to see Far From Saints this week, and Kelly Jones still knocking it out of the park - phenomenal talent.

Dakota and Me. I play this record to remember a friend who died too young in a tragic motor bike accident. I drove to work, days after hearing the very sad news about 3 and half years ago, pulling up at the same spot that he died at, flowers marking his legacy. Winding down the windows of my car on that very quiet Sunday morning, on a country road in East Yorkshire, the track that came on was Dakota, the volume went to max as I got out the car, and listened - Peace!

I listen to this more than the album version! Absolutely incredible, what a crowd..

I saw them do this at the Weston V Festival that year... they blew everyone from the whole weekend out of the water. I just cant put into words how amazing they are live.

Makes me proud to be Welsh! Wonderful band and such a fantastic talent in Kelly Jones. And the song is even quite moving with the crowd singing. So glad they have such an appreciative audience here.
