Great stuff. I'm convinced everyone in Wales knows each other. My grandma was a native welsh speaking , and in the 80s we used to go on holiday to various places in Europe. Inevitable we would bump into some other from Wales, and within a minute the two groups would have established a mutual acquaintance.

The Stereophonics were the first band I saw live when I was about 16. A coach load of us when up to Manchester. What a great night!

As a fan of both Rob and Kelly, I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. Having lived for a time in the Rhondda Valley, it's also lovely to hear the Welsh accents again - takes me back. Thank you!

Lucky enough to see the boys in the late 90's in the US, in Chuck Berry's Blueberry Hill pub/bar, St Louis, was about 30 of us crammed into this basement and they were amazing. Chatted afterwards and my wife managed to get some of Stuart's drumsticks. Saw them again New Year's Eve 1999, Liverpool, and I swear he recognised us, :D Fantastic bloke.

Love, love, love your podcasts. Always such fun to learn who, in the "world of entertainment", knows who. And always LOVE Tom stories. I just love Wales. I regenerative there who speak mostly Welsh to each other, sadly I never learned the language part from a few phrases. Going there makes me sooo happy! I love Stereophonics

I wonder if Kelly remembers meeting me in Central Park NYC Sept 2002? He was being filmed by some news station and gave me passes to a very intimate gig the next night in a record store. It was amazing and an experience I’ll never forget! Made my NYC trip so memorable! Thanks again Kelly 😉

Thanks, Rob! I don't know how I missed this one last year, but I'm having an early weekend treat now. Great to hear those lilting Welsh voices, chatting away. I think others have said this already, but I so enjoy hearing stories about your famous friends, especially Tom Jones. (I have my own Tom Jones' story!)

Couldn't get Imelda Marcos. This was great though, yeah he looks youthful. Saw the Phonics in Germany in a 2000 seater! But I was drinking then so I'm not really sure what happend, bet they were fantastic though, and at least drunk me saw it - I assume. I dont drink anymore thankfully - just beer.
