My brother died in 1995 and this reminds of of all the motions we go through. My best wishes to anyone who has lost loved ones. The memories we have are our future and our past. Lets make the best to live the lives we have inherited. God bless and may our best wishes hold you up.

A lesson to guitarists and songwriters : often you can keep chords simple. Kelly's lyrics are often like miniature screenplays; very evocative and cinematic. One of the earliest one's of theirs, and my favourite.

Heartbreaking song that really comes through when acoustically played. Too many young folk falling foul of society's awfulness. I love my kids with my whole being, and constantly tell them that if they are ever feeling down for any reason, please let me know. I can only hope they listen.

Sometimes we listen to music and it just flies right over our head . It’s because it’s all soul less and mind washing crap But this man and his band write and perform songs with so much feel and meaning it makes us feel alive !! Thanks Kelly and Stereophonics for all the memories ! Keep it coming and I hope to see you guys live as it is an ambition of mine !

In the lyrics after, "that's where they found his clothes" It is beautiful how the words stop to give you time to imagine what happened while also transitioning to vocal cries of a sort because the truth was too painful to imagine one human enduring. Yet so many of us know exactly how it feels, I know i do. I wonder who inspired Kelly, what town, what pier that was freshly painted red?

Got to give Kelly kudos for the guitar too - he's only 5' 6" and he's playing a Gibson J200 - the largest acoustic there is. They're super uncomfy and very hard to handle due to the size for any person let alone someone as small as Kelly yet the tones he gets from it are stunning. Impressive stuff
