hadn't seen it on video before. And its good that's full of energy. Is that right after he hits up the catnip plant or what? lol And is he usually racing around with the others or the kitten? or just on his own? Most cats like to sleep all day.

I have before. They are non-reactive.

@@fleamarketmixtape3793 Put them in (or pour some on) vinegar. If it reacts (bubbles) then it'll raise your pH. If nothing really happens, then it won't affect your pH.

i grabbed a bunch of discarded snail shells and little rocks from the shore line and im boiling them right now... i rinsed them for a short time before boiling them. im wondering what else should i possibly do to these things???? i mean boiling the crap out of them and then rinsing them off tomorrow seems good to me but i will not add them to my betta tank untill i know i did the most that i can do.... i never done the assortment from gathering outside but it seems like it can be fun
@DanHiteshew-oneandonly5 жыл бұрын
They should be fine if you've boiled them. If you want to see if any of it will raise your pH, then put it in a cup of vinegar. if you get a reaction (bubbles) then it'll raise your pH. If nothing happens, then they won't affect your pH.

@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly thanks for replying have you ever boiled them and if so do you prefer baking instead and why?
@DanHiteshew-oneandonly5 жыл бұрын
@@fleamarketmixtape3793 No preference. If you bake them, do it slowly, and keep the temp around 250 or less. super-heated moisture in certain rocks can cause them to "explode". It doesn't happen often, but it's something to be aware of. Just keep the temp reasonable. You don't need a 500 degree oven to kill algae. Lol
@fleamarketmixtape37935 жыл бұрын
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly i boiled them for up to an hour at least i was gonna maybe scrub them today and decide by looking at them if i should take any further action. i may bake them a bit more today
