This is not suitable for car tyre inflation. It can't handle such high pressure objects. It's meant only for inflatables.

Looks like some pumps have defects even when they are brand new. Mine still works the same just as the day i used it first.

Hi. Try using a bigger nozzle and make sure you hold the nozzle area tightly. Maybe the air is escaping while you tried and not creating enough pressure could be a reason.
