In this video I show one of my latest hat purchases and talk a little about the hat. I also compare the hat to another straw hat I have. I hope this video is helpful to you if you are considering getting one of these hats and provides a little more detail than you can get elsewhere.

I have several Stetsons . Stetson is my go to brand for cowboy hats and fedora style like the Open Road and Stratoliner. This hat has the rodeo style west texas punch profile. Its pretty popular right now. I like that its palm straw. I saw that you mentioned the Powder River Stetson. I have one and its the Cowboy hat I wear the most. Its is a great looking hat. Great video by the way. I have been looking for a palm straw Stetson for the summer! Hat looks like a good deal!

I've asked many hat channels, what hat the lead character CORY in the movie Wind River is wearing. No one answered, I'm sure it's a basic stetson. Good review

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I'm not familiar with the movie (perhaps I should watch it), but looking at a picture of him wearing the hat it looks like it may be a weathered version of the "Marshall" hat. The Marshall has a light silver like color and a large leather hat band. It looks like Cory's hat has a similar hat band and color. His is just well worn. and perhaps has more sweep on the front part of the brim That's my best guess. I've actually looked a picking up a Stetson Marshall, but the time I was looking at it at 7 3/4" was not available. Maybe I'll pick up one later. Thanks for watching!

@dia_guys yeah I looked at the Marshall before , that's stetson version of raylan givens hat in justified. They discontinued the hat he whore. Wind River is a good movie, after the movie everyone wanted the marlin 45-70 lever action rifle he used .
