The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

8 жыл бұрын

In his 2006 book "Stand For Something," John Kasich explained how much he hated the movie "Fargo." Never one to stand for a disappointed fan, Steve Buscemi decided to make a film that Governor Kasich would really enjoy.

Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

FARGO is 1hr 38 mins. The chopping someone up in a grinder occurs about 10 mins before it ends. Kasich was so morally outraged and hated the film so much that he sat through 90% of the film. That's ultra-conservative moral hypocrisy for you.

+Sam Poncho Fargo is 1hr 38mins. The scene in question happens 10 minutes before the film ends. If you want to be pedantic about it let's say a conservative estimate of 90.9% of the way through the film. Don't believe me then watch the film and judge for yourself.

I don't really see the hypocrisy of not realising that the movie is nearly over when you finish watching it. He obviously didn't find it that disturbing until the woodchipper part.

+Rex Mundi In Utah, lots of mormons go to 'wrong' movies and college lectures just for the fun of walking out in disgust, taking the central aisle for emphasis. So when Dan Savage came to town, we filled an overflow room with LGBT youth to take their places. It was epic.

Once charged $31.00 on late fees because i lend my membership card to my girl cousin, who forgot to return it after 1 week. I was pissed. I asked the manager if i could keep the damn movie since i basically paid for it. He said no. I told him that one day Blockbuster will go out of business because of a Internet based company that does rentals with absolutely no late fees. He says "yeah right ". Btw, the stupid movie was Spy Kids. I'm glad they're extinct.

So in the book he says he saw the wood chipper part and had to shut the movie off right there in the MIDDLE of it? .......That's like the LAST part of the movie Mr Kasich..... how could you sit through that much and shut it off then?? There's legit like only 5 or 10 minutes after that part. Not the middle whatsoever.

+Toe Cutter As expected, he makes a decision, blocking out all context and reason. If he;d have held on for five minutes, the film clearly shows that crime doesn't pay. Just ask the guy in the wood chipper or the guy who gets busted geez!

I went on youtube and it recommended me this video, so I sat down, and watched it, on my computer. When it got to the woodchipper part, i felt rubbed in so many wrong ways, I had to turn it off right then and there in the middle of it.

The movie's too graphic for John Kasich? Maybe he should watch the back alley abortions he's causing to happen.
