I have always been a fan of Cam. I don’t follow sports like most. I usually find someone that inspires on and off the court or field. He has more to offer the culture that his athleticism and due to his current situation now he is able to shine even more. I love how he dares to be different and go not only outside of the box but out of all social norms. He is cocky in a very humbling way by just being true to himself and I have so much respect for that. This interview proves that. This was deep and so laid back that I feel like if Cam takes this on his own channel it would go even further. I appreciate BET giving him the opportunity to have a platform because we need this for not only the culture but so others can see we are more than just one thing

I performed on the Steve harvey radio show back in 2013. I sung luther vandross version of knock me off my feet. I won the contest and he sent me $250 bucks. Steve Harvey in my opinion is the congoid god in america. I pray healing over him in the name of jesus, healing over families, governments, relationships and every brain god made. Steve Harvey is one of my heroes. Got dang he's got it goin on all the time. Him and Cams words on loving their step kids is DEEP and RIGHT ON!! IM there... "where he at though?" Worked and then all of the sudden I started mentoring their daddy. He eventually got saved by the Lord and has been clean for 3 years. Just started a job making 40k/yr and is about to build a used car business. All because my babies was way more important than my own pride.

I have been smoking cigars for a while and heard some great and profound things from older and wiser men than myself. Nothing made me stop and think and stay silent as Steve Harvey saying men who shoulder other men’s responsibilities are on a whole mother level. That’s a real man. It reminds me of mentoring one of my friend’s sons. The boy (we’ll call him L) is 5 years old and doesn’t have his dad around. L also has autism. I heard him say to his mom “I wish I wasn’t autistic. Maybe daddy would still want me.” That was the day I related for the first time as a father to a kid who’s not mine. I sat L down and told him I didn’t ever want him thinking having autism is why his dad left. I then made a promise that I would be at every major event in his life. This kid is smart, funny and incredibly gifted at piano. I spent an hour at a kindergarten graduation the other week. Something that I always thought was dumb. When L got up to the microphone to tell all the parents what he learned this and one thing he is grateful for, he said “I learned how to play baseball and I’m thankful for Daddy Keith.” I broke down. I never realized how much he enjoyed the time I spend with him. I did it because I wanted him to have someone to look up to. I will begin doing it because he’s my boy and damn anyone who says otherwise.
