I was a witness and the opening act for 30 of those shows in 99/2000. It was the greatest Comedy experience To see all of those guys I knew before the tour become the biggest stars in Comedy was a blessing

I met Bernie, I was working security at the building the jail scene of Soul Men was shot. Bernie was so kind to me. A nobody, he came up to me and started a conversation with my white a$$. My cheeks hurt the next day from grinning and laughing. That was my experience. Of course I owned Kings of Conedy on VHS, seen Life and the Bernie Mac show. Was already a huge fan! But after those couple of days, is the reason I shed tears when I heard that he had passed.

I went to the KINGS OF COMEDY SHOW in ATLANTIC CITY. The line up was DL, CED, Bernie, then steve with Guy Torry Hosting. BERNIE was so funny the crowd was crying lol!!! Steve came on and stunk the place up to the point he and his body guard was trying to fight the crowd. People asked for there money back it got so bad. After that i steve was the host and BERNIE WAS THE ANCHOR going last. Had Steve been the funniest he wouldve continued wanting to go LAST. THE LAST UP IS NORMALLY THE TRUE KING!!!!! RIP B.MAC.....KING!!!!!!!!

I saw them several years ago in Mississippi. Steve was the opener and Bernie was the closer. I enjoyed them all but Bernie was by far my favorite. Steve is funny when he's not really trying to be but he isn't as funny as he thinks he is.

he just admitted it WAS his tour , having a intermisson before the last act is what is called the HEADLINER. Thats why there is a intermission, get calm people down before the main act. this makes everything that katt said more and more true. Bro was salty he had to follow Mac everynight , thats why they fell out and why he was so quick to take the hosting position . This is crazy because this going over most of yall heads

Man all I heard was what Steve said about his mama. I’m 50, and it’s always been me and my mama. She is 77 now and I have anxiety sometimes just thinking about that moment. I shake it off but I am not looking forward to it.

I appreciate and respect Steve's honesty. He knew where his lane was even when doing the Kings Of Comedy. Listen to how many times he said it was difficult to follow Ced, DL and Bernie, He knew he could hang with them but he knew that hosting was a better fit for him. He could tell some jokes in-between each comedian coming out.

Bernie said Steve tried to steal a show under him. He confronted Steve and told him off. He told Steve their friendship was done. He said he told Steve he couldn't trust him anymore. Bernie told the story of him and Steve Beef. Like he said, Steve is not to be trusted.

I went to the Kings of Comedy in Charlotte, in what must have been the 2nd year of the tour, when they were taping for the movie. Most of Steve Harvey's routine was dissing the audience, telling us how country we were. I can tell you he was the 4th funniest comedian that night. I have not checked for him since.

@@79mrdoright I think ToneX (local comedian) was the warmup, then it was DL, Ced and Bernie. Like Steve says in the video, he flipped it the 2nd year so he was "hosting". So he did like three 10min sets in between the other dudes. It's been almost 20 years so forgive me if I don't have it exact, lol

I think Steve Harvey has done a good job at staying in HIS lane. He already said in so many words that Bernie and others were funnier than him so I don't knock him for sticking to TV and radio where he can shine. He's definitely a good host
