I wanted to get this call out for those that didn't hear it live this morning. However, I am going to break down so much more in the next video.

She said "you and Marjorie are going through your own personal stuff right now" AT LEAST 3 TIMES!!!. She's apologising and telling their business in code, all in one statement.

It was a hurtful thing to say, for sure, but does Marjorie make them feel like “the help”? If that’s how she feels, then that’s how she feels.

This is strong. Proud of Shirley for apologizing and Steve for receiving and forgiving.

Prayers to Shirleys daughter and grandchildren. They are the real victims in this.

The person who deserves the first public apology is her daughter! Im disappointed

I really didn’t think Shirley said bad things about Steve and Marjorie. It was mild compared to what she probably could have said. This is very sad for her but it’s life. Prayers for healing.

I listen to Steve’s motivational videos every morning . He ain’t lying about the devil send the ones he has and you never know what someone is going through and there on the radio trying to make someone’s day better . We all need good news, a good laugh, and hope . I felt him on that one . He’s not perfect but who is , I don’t listen to relationship advice from anyone, but his life lessons and quotes are very helpful and keeps me going . He really hit on the bigger picture of this situation

Shirley you a class act, stay strong and time will help you heal.

This made me cry. She’s human. Some of us have gossiped about our boss or job to our spouses, and she actually didn’t say anything malicious. Most of her convo was complimenting Steve’s home and Marjorie’s spa. None of us want to be publicly embarrassed by something we said or did in private. At her age, I hope she finds peace and enjoy the rest of her life.

So basically, Monica was snitching. 😂 Shirley confided in Monica, Monica told the rest of the morning show crew so they all secretly knew behind Shirley back. Every morning for the last year, they been side eyeing Shirley and she didnt even know it. 🤣

What’s sad is the “love” she thought she had for 8 entire years with a man that she thought was her undisputed husband. It’s all painfully endured

I'm glad they were able to discuss this matter as adults and realize the friendship and working relationship is far more important than petty words uttered at a down point in life. People love gossip and want to create drama. Well I applaud Steve & Shirley for not allowing social media and the devils amongst us to fuel an unnecessary fire.

Kudos to her for taking accountability and apologizing. I pray she heals from this experience and moves on peacefully 🙏🏾

I don’t understand how Steve and Marjorie in the blogs about their marriage is bigger then her husband being in jail. And they are so full of themselves that they think these tapes were released of Shirley and Ernesto just to get under the skin of Steve… This lady on the air in tears about how her life has been turned upside down and how she lost her car and home, but he made it all about him! 😢

Since when does telling the truth about what you saw and the way that someone makes you feel become something that you need to feel bad about and apologize for… if anything, Marjorie should be apologizing to Shirley for making her feel like the help, and I believe every word🎉

Her comments about Steve were probably funny but not intented to be evil. It was her feelings and if Steve was winded while going upstairs it happens. If she feels that Marjorie treats them like the help, it is what it is.

Damn hearing the pain in her voice really brings me to tears 😢. As women a lot of us have failed at listening to our intuition. She deserves grace. Only God can judge. Steve is and always will be a stand up guy in my book.

I'm glad Shirley, finally decided to speak up about the situation. I can't imagine her embarrassment but at least she can begin picking up the pieces of her life and pushing forward with God's grace. It'll take time but with prayer, faith, family & friends she'll make it. Also, I commend Steve, for addressing the rumors surrounding him and his wife. I am glad the show created a safe space for Shirley. When everyone says protect black women, this is what they mean. They didn't talk about it in the media or anywhere else. They protected her and her mental well being. Hearing her pain brings tears to my eyes. My prayers are with Shirley, her family, and all on the show.

When I was going thru my divorce, I was too embarrassed to face my pastor who had married us, my family, and my neighbors. Can't imagine it being on NATIONAL TV, with TAPES. That's next level - she will be stronger day by day!

Shirley said all of that, to say NOTHING! This was an apology and tribute to Steve and Marjorie. This was not a strawberry letter.

Shirley has my deepest sympathy. What a humiliating experience. Her apology seems sincere. I can't imagine going through what she's going through. I just hope she recovers from this with her mental and physical health in tact.

Thank you so much for this segment Steve Harvey and crew. My family is going through the same thing. It is painful when your own color are your biggest enemies. My daughter on her first job was nationally put on television for organized fighting in her classroom. My daughter is 23 years old and doesn’t weigh 100 pounds, she continually wrote referrals and asked for security in her class. I complained to the school board, she complained to the school board and then she was ostracized by the administration. She was told to just allow the kids to fight and do her job. Fast forward, there was another fight in her classroom, she didn’t move quick enough to stop it and now she was arrested for allowing the kids to fight and it was sensationalized to she organized the fight. This has been a very tough battle for us as she loved her kids and they loved her. She has been shown so much hate from media and her own color. People that know her know that this isn’t her character, but everyone now avoids us like the plague. I understand when you say @steveharvey that the enemy doesn’t bother anyone that he already has. I have a relationship with Christ, but this one has thrown me, everyday is a struggle when you see your child hurting. You all be blessed. We have to make it!!

The reality is SH and wife has probably said some terrible things about Shirley and her situation, but the their words were not publicly revealed.

I want to know why didn't she apologize to her daughter?!? She is definitely owed an apology!!!!! Sheridyn's apology should be as loud as the Harvey's! I still believe Ms. Shirley is still somewhat in his corner! Desperation is at an ALL TIME HIGH!!! 🙄

Omg! I feel for Shirley, I don’t care what nobody says, it takes a REAL one to admit your mistakes, and apologize! Especially publicly! It’s not easy! I pray for her and her daughters peace. Prayers up for Shirley. I can imagine how humiliated she felt. Shirley is a great woman just manipulated by a not-so-great man whom she thought would be her prince. The things said about Steve and Marjorie was shocking but who hasn't said things about people they are close with to their spouse when they feel a certain way? Hope she can sue whoever leaked those conversations.

This was all damage control to basically appease her boss Steve Harvey and Marjorie because she offended them. It's one thing for social media to negatively comment on him and his wife, but when it comes from inside the camp, that's a different story. So she had to do this to possibly salvage her job. But my question is, why didn't she apologize to her daughter? For whatever the situation is with her daughter and her children. This should have been a whole apology to her family as well.

Best wishes to you Shirley, I am so sorry for your pain when it comes to your husband and your personal conversations. Many times when we are having what we believe to be private conversations, we say what we want to say at that time. I am definitely guilty of having those conversations and so are others who have been speaking to me, at no time would I ever repeat anything others have said and create a disaster such as this. I must admit that I didn't particularly care for Steve or the morning show but for him to not automatically fire her and also allow her to tell her side of the story was admirable. He protected her. Notice Shirley said nothing about her daughter? I listened to the phone calls. She trashed her daughter. Shirley admitted on the calls that there’s an active restraining order against her daughter/grandchildren and her jailed husband. It bothered me that Shirley didn’t at least say that she loved her daughter and grandkids. I’ve lost complete respect for Shirley Strawberry. Because this proved that she only cares about herself.

Shirley & Nesto were our next door neighbors for a few years before they moved out in 2022. I met Shirley when she was unloading a moving van when they moved in and she was the KINDEST, loveliest person. We saw Nesto out and about more and he was alway kind and chatty. I'm so sorry this is happening and they are in my prayers.

He said thats why he dont have people at his house. The relationship is forever changed.

May Shirley's daughter and grandchildren find peace from the trauma of having a delusional mother like this. I would understand if they never speak to her again.

She didn't say ANYTHING! It was just that she was embarassed and an apology for something that she should be able to say to her husband. I talk $h*t about my job to my husband on the phone, text and in person but it's just for our ears. Imagine this being recorded and leaked! I pray for her daughter and that they can work through this. I pray that she opened her eyes to what he did to her and that she is able to rebuild her family relationships and her finances.
