They ask adults, so while they might have caught some college kids, most of the people they talk to would be too old to think of school. (Plus, they remember the good parts of school on your birthday - getting your name in the announcements, all the attention, seeing their friends, getting balloons or something to carry around, teachers who gave them cupcakes or candy... and forget that it usually ended up being another day of slogging through boring lectures or taking a test or whatever the usual daily horror show looked like for them.)
