STEVE KILBEY, of THE CHURCH plays the STARFISH* album acoustically in CANBERRA ON 15 JULY 2022.
The venue, 'The Belco Arts Centre', located in Belconnen, CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA.
This was the second album KILBEY played in its entirety, after first playing, THE CHURCH, album, HEYDAY, in its entirety.
** note that Spark was not played from the STARFISH album and was replaced by, AURA, from the, PRIEST = AURA album.

One of the finest records I've ever loved. Plus I'd like to say those starfish stories are awesome. I saw the starfish tour the day I graduated from high-school in Cleveland.

that was a delight haha he really holds up by himself and I've never heard him or anyone else of the band talk that much. So cool to hear these stories though!

SK's raconteur mentality is another dimension from his songwriting mentality, it seems to me. Like from realistic Bondi to a really idealistic Delhi; the everyday world to an image of the divine; or something like that. It's fantasy Jim, but not as we know it...
