If the band got the recognition and attention they deserved, he would definitely be in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and he is in my opinion, the greatest rock vocalist of all time

I could not agree more. Doesn’t matter where you’re from. I’m in the US & from the era of this band. This band was never given the recognition they deserved. Steve was an icon & beyond in my opinion.

I agree. In my opinion there were 3 greatest rock vocalists of all time. All were under appreciated & taken too soon. Ray Gillen of Badlands. Jani Lane of Warrant & Steve Lee of Gotthard. The last of my top 4 is Paul Laine of Danger Danger.

Steve was one of the greatest if not THE most talented rock vocalists of all times, the feeling he put in the songs is incomparable, he made every song shine ! Way too early the world has lost not only an amazing musician but also a great human being !

2020, and I just now, ran into this band. And I love them. First song I listened to was, One Life, One Soul. How the hell did I miss them, when I was a young rockin’ chick of the 80’s/90’s!?! I really don’t know how I did, but I am sure glad, I ‘ran into’ them now. I’m ’Eternally in Heaven!’ Now that I found this music, that literally speaks to your heart and soul. Oh, and the guitar, too. Love it! RIP Steve.

Steve Lee bleibt unvergessen 😥 Kann es bis heute noch nicht glauben das er vor 10 Jahren gehen musste. Werde den Tag nie vergessen als ich die Nachricht von seinem Tod erfuhr. Heaven würde ich mir auf meiner Beerdigung als Abschied wünschen. R.I.P. Steve, du warst wohl "der" Rocksänger schlechthin.

Finde ich ne tolle Idee von euch eine Hommage an Steve Lee zu machen. Hab den Song zuvor noch nicht gehört, aber wenn ihr Lust habt würde ich euch gerne einen Radioauftritt organisieren. Vielleicht mit einer kleinen Geschichte rund um den Song und einem kurzen Interview. Ich hoffe man kann dem Song so noch mehr Aufrufe verschaffen, natürlich nur wenn ihr wollt. Lg

You know? It's still hard to think that we won't hear his voice live anymore. It's still hard to believe he's gone. Gotthard is doing great with the new album but I still wonder how it could have sound with Steve Lee in vocals. We miss you so much and your voice will live forever in our hearts. R.I.P Steve Lee

Angels die too ....Steve Lee (born Stefan Alois in Horgen, Switzerland, August 5, 1963 - October 5, 2010) was a great Swiss musician ... 5 Oct. 2010 an idiot with a semi truck hit a parked motorcycle then changed a life in death. So an Angel been killed , what a huge lost for the Heaven of Music .

In meinen Augen der größte Rock-Sänger aller Zeiten. Bodenständig, Glücklich, Charma das es besser kaum geht und eine Stimme das es dich von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde friert. Siehe ACDC und Co, die müßen sich verbiegen für ihre Stimme. Er steht da als wäre es das einfachste auf der Welt. Ich konnte ihn einige mal Live erleben und er hat mir immer etwas nässe in die Augenwinkel gezaubert. Ein Mensch wie er sucht seinesgleichen, egal ob auf der Bühne, im sozialen oder einfach als er wie er dasteht und lacht. Er starb bei seiner Erfüllung seines größten Traumes, mit seinen engsten Freunden bei seinem liebsten Hobby. Allein das sagt alles über eine größe wie ihn aus.

Nun halt mal schön die Luft an; denn Bon Scott von ACDC sang locker auch drei Oktaven und noch höher, und das mit einer Leichtigkeit, als wenn er mal kurz hallo zu seiner Oma sagt!! Und in der Lautstärke war er Steve Lee auch um Längen überlegen. Würde es eine weltweite Abstimmung über Bon Scott und Steve Lee geben, dann wäre Steve Lee sehr weit unten in der Rangliste. Siehst ja selbst, dass der große internationale Durchbruch für Gotthard nie stattgefunden hat, obwohl Steve Lee eine absolut tolle Stimme hatte und auch die Töne absolut hinnagelte, als wenn ihm eine Rockengel im Hals sitzen würde; aber dennoch kann er verglichen mit Bon Scott nur sein kleiner Bruder sein, weil ihm das rotzfreche Etwas in seine Stimme absolut fehlte, was Bon Scott im Übermaß besaß!!!! Beste Grüße

R. I. P. Steve Lee. Man kann es einfach immer noch nicht fassen usw. Dass einer der besten, wenn nicht der beste Frontsänger aller Zeiten nimmer ist. Für Mich persönlich, als Ehm. Rock DJ, war ER mit weitem Abstand der ALLER beste. Seine einzigartige Stimme und seine Bodenständigkeit was einzigartig. Die Lieder mit der Gruppe Gotthard sind der top Wahnsinn. Ich und mehr als SEHR viele andere auch, werden DICH im Leben NIE vergessen. R. I. P. Du wirst für immer und ewig eine unantastbare Sänger Legende bleiben.

This song is HYMN of my girlfriend (Jole) and me. We love each other so much, but we often have conflicts because of our personalities... We broke up like 10 times and she always comes back to me.When she comes back we usually send each other this song as a memory and reminder of greatness and strenght of our love.I just want to say that I`ll love her FOREVER ETERNALLY...I`ll never leave her alone again!God bless you Steve for this song and making our love better and stonger!!! To me, no one, absolutely no one, will ever come even close to his talent as a vocalist. Such a controlled voice, such a range, even so live. Will always be kicking myself that I came down with the flu when I had the chance to see them live.

I couldn't agree more. Nic is good. Steve was great. And I feel that huge gap each time Nic sings. With each new song, I can hear Steve singing it. For example, can you imagine how much better Remember It's Me would be!?!?

Nic sometimes sounds like Steve. For the first time, when I didn't know much about Gotthard I thought it's the same voice! :D But now I can see difference. Nic has a problem with old Gotthard songs and sometimes they tune guitars half steps down(he can't event sing his own Tell Me in tuning they used in studio lol) but I respect him, he is good :)
