Documentary: NO PAIN IN VAIN - The Shocking Life of Steve-O (a film by Flavio De Feo) // FULL MOVIE
Steve-O has taped himself to a billboard, but that's the least crazy thing he's done. "Jackass" is the Olympics for degenerates: a bunch of attention seekers competing for screen time and testing who can take the gross-out or the gut-punch one step further. While Steve-O originally reached stardom as a Jackass' crew member, his real life is far more shocking than any stunt ever performed in the history of the franchise. Drug abuse, family issues, a failed clown career and a desperate craving for immortality have shaped Steve-O's story arc into a wildly inspiring tale of love's triumph over pain.
Yes, Steve-O is gnarly but he's also much more than that.
By the way, have you seen the Jackass 4 official trailer? (jackass 4ever trailer: • jackass forever | Offi... ) Looks so good, I can't wait for the movie to actually come out!

IMPORTANT - READ THIS : This is a fan made documentary. I've listened to and watched over 100+ hours of interviews, I've isolated the soundbites and combined them to create a cohesive story, I’ve added a combination of self-made animations, my own footage, stock footage and archival footage (this latest one farmed from KZfaq) and transformed all the material into something new and different and bigger - like a DJ remixing tunes to create a new song.
The goal was to (1) highlight how Steve-O overcame his inner pain (which is often overlooked as is less visible than the physical pain he subjects himself to).
And (2) making the Steve-O's documentary that didn't exist and I wanted to watch.
This is the portrayal of a guy who tried to find happiness in the wrong places and nearly destroyed his life multiple times - but decided to relentlessly work on himself until he could find true peace and happiness.
I'm a huge Steve-O's fan and this documentary is purely an act of love.

One last thing: create the things you want to see in this world. Go write that book. Go play that song. Start that business. Whatever. Not everyone will understand or be interested. Some may even criticise and miss the point entirely. But you're not doing it for them. Those who need it, will find it eventually. But you have to make it first.

That's what I love about the (authorised) John Lennon docus too. Like 'Imagine,' 'Gimme Some Thruth,' and 'A Year Of Peace', etc. Or The Beatles Anthology. The FBI doc about Lennon was amazing too, many federal agents decided to tell the truth about his FBI files and the things they (+ the Nixon administration/Immigration) did to him and his wife to get them out of the US.

@@JonasofPersia Sobriety is the best high...once you readjust, which it sounds like you did. Things do come along that fulfill some of that explorer in you. (You deserve something special for a year of sobriety so here is to many many more, stay sober for life okay!) In my case this explorers delight arrived this year after 18yrs 4mo of my own sobriety... I found a small stone one day in April this year. I was walking on crutches a staring at the ground. For some reason I felt compelled to pick up a rock, so I did. It was nothing special so I went forward on my crutches and flipped the rock from my fingers while my palm held the crutch. As I came forward and my foot touched down the rock I pitched came to a rest right beside another dark greenish grey rock/stone... This stone had three symbols *=O>* made of a crystal like stone inlaid into the darker stone. After taking a hi-def 4k 12.1 megapixel image of it with my LG Nexus 5X and zooming in... well take look, and as you scroll the down the page you'll see many enlarged micro images of what is in the symbols. It's mind blowing what is on the stone. First of all, a date of 1235 AD! Then pics of ET's, humanoids, advanced mining machinery...you just have to see (link to my Blogspot page below) I soon realized maybe the same [free shareware>]GIMP image filtering software that I used on the stone could be applied to images of clouds, old UFO pics, any pic really. IT WORKED! The coolest part is anyone can do it. And anyone can reverse or reproduce the steps for literal online proof that as bizarre as it, it's real! Enjoy. :-) electronicorgans.blogspot *DOT* com/2021/04/just-found-ii-o-marked-ancient-alien.html

In 3rd grade i had to do a presentation about myself. And for the “who is your hero?” Question i said steve-o and i even explained the multiple reasons i found him to be a special person and my teacher just flat out interrupted me and said “are you serious? Steve O is like actually a terrible person and its pretty ridiculous to look up to someone like that” and I was very embarrassed and annoyed i said “how do you know hes such a bad person you never met him” and this being in texas i was sent to the principle for talking back to my teacher but my principle was a reasonable nice lady and she just laughed about what i said and even said she admired how i believed you must first actually know someone in order to judge them so harshly. But my point is i think this documentary clearly shows that Steve O is a great guy to look up to. Hes very talented and has overcome a lot. Hes also ver nice and open minded unlike my ignorant teacher. I watch a lot of his new content and he is such an inspiring guy. Hes so positive about just getting out and living life to the fullest. He saved a dog from another country. Hes awesome. I love this video ive watched it like 4 times

@@josegonza1ez In my 44 years of living on this earth I have learned that judging a book by its cover is a grave mistake. Some of the best people I have met in my life where the exact opposite of what I initially thought they would be like from first meeting them. My best friend who I have known since we were 16 years old is a prime example of that. Your teacher obviously has/had some issues and probably should not of been a educator at all with comments like that. You have to give everyone a chance and sometimes a few chances depending on the situation. Try and treat others like you would like to be treated and just try and be a good person overall. You wrote a great comment and you should definitely send this video to that teacher if you can get a hold of them. Cheers 🍻

Less than 10 mins in and this further validated for me that Steve o is the man. He has a emotions. He cares about others more than the world will ever know. He can admit he's fucked up but somehow has proven the world wrong that anyone can be successful and never too late to straight out. Keep trucking bro. Youre an inspiration for me (I'm 28) older AND future generations. Keep be amazing man. Youre doing amazing man. You've come a long long long way!

Thank you so much Steve-O for showcasing your life and how you went from rock bottom to where you are now. You are definitely an inspiration hands down. Being a cancer survivor after being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage II at 11 months old and being in remission after my chemotherapy treatments finished at around age 2-3, I am very thankful that I am still here living. Seeing the look in people's eyes when I tell them I beat my cancer brings such joy. You do the same thing with your story. Thank you for all the laughs and cringe-worthy moments in the Jackass franchise! My respect for you has increased exponentially. Last, but not least, my many thanks to Flavio De Feo for making this documentary. One of the best I've seen.

Yet he still came out on top after realising how bad he was getting, making that u-turn in life and making the most of everything he has and more so then gave it back to the community he built! This man is a mother fucking legend! All my best wishes and respect goes out to Steve-O.
