I had one of the SOS decks (Steve Olson Stinger, if I remember) in the early 80's. Steve Olson was such a badass, still is.

no hes not but he did develop the independent truck and made other people very wealthy. he created the cool in skateboarding (with a small handful of others) and the industry didnt really compensate him for it. and he doesnt hold no grudges. Olson is skateboarding. its cool his son is moving along at least.

The first time I met Alex Olsen was at LA Skate and I remember looking at one of his boards on the wall and it said LAMF and I was like that's fucking cool The Heartbreakers LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER, and he goes no we changed that up and instead of that we say LOS ANGELES MOTHERFUCKER to represent! Coolest fucking thing ever and I use it to this day! 6 years later!
