I would love 💜💜 to see Steve perform on tv !! ... but not on a streaming service ... so many people don't have access to them, or they may have this one or that one, but don't have the exact one that might stream him ... it's very very frustrating 🤔😕🤔 ... I never got to hear the "The Big Interview" with Dan Rather that was only on AXS TV ... my cable didn't carry it and I couldn't figure out how to get it !! ... I heard it was such an excellent interview that revealed so much of Steve, and I was heartbroken 💔 that I never could find it anywhere else 😥😥😥 ... that being said, I DO wish Steve would do a "one off" appearance, somewhere somehow !! and if he ever does, I just hope I can access it !!! 💜💜💜💜💜🎶🎶🎤🎶🎶💜💜💜💜💜

Back in 86 I was in the Corp. we arrived back at Camp Pendleton in November from Japan. After watching FRONTIERS AND BEYOND for the umpteenth time I had a thought. Maybe they were headed back this way?? And they were. I saw the show in Long Beach on New Year’s Eve. One of the greatest nights of my life and all for $27.50!! I caught Steve again in Seattle in 1995 for about double the price. So Steve if u read this I would gladly, gleefully, pay waaaaay more than that to c u again. Way more!! And I’m not alone I assure u.

At first, I preferred the first version; however, after several listens to the stripped down version, it has grown on me. This song is very unique, very different.

I love the Traces album!!💖💖 What I would like to see next is an album that reflects more of the soul of Sam Cooke. I just listened to the song "Wonderful" by Sam Cooke and could hear Steve Perry's voice in Cooke's. Perry's voice would be soulfully explosive on songs like That's Where It's At, Nothing Can Change this Love, Trouble Blues, Bring It on Home, A Change Is Gonna Come, Ain't That Good News. I think Perry could take these songs to a level that even Sam Cooke would say, "Damn, man, what an honor! Your versions top mine!" Perry IS A SOUL MAN like Cooke!
