Hey everybody, try reading Steve Vai's articles called "Martian Love Secrets". They really helped me finding my own style, and they were probably the most inspiring things I've ever read. you can find them on his website :)

Yeah I'm with you, it's not so easy to find your own style nowadays. With so much famous guitarists, most of what you play sounds like something Vai, Satriani or whoever would play. It's hard to create any signature thing of yours.

My style is a stop tail guitar, with 10-46 strings, in drop c tuning, genre = heavy metal, rock, etc
