I've seen Steve in concert around 15 times.. really. great performer.. friend worked for Jim Halsey back in the day when he managed Steve. Went on a promotional tour with them down south back in the early 80's, to Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee, lot of fun, met Con Hunley, David Allen Cole, Earl Thomas Conley, Lee Greenwood... many more. fan times, it was the good ole'days....

It is so neat to see this video... Steve Wariner is my favorite country artist, I haven't seen one of his concerts in years, but his shows were sooo good! When you talked to Steve or his brother Terry, they were so humble, super nice guys... It is hard to believe Steve will be 60 on Christmas day.... But he can still pick that guitar!!!

The greats knew how good this guy is and acknowledged it. How the music industry undercut his success. Probably my favorite country artist and song writer.

That was Steves best line up! Ron Gannaway, Kyle Tullis, Jeff Guernsey, excellent stage band ! Saw them many, many times in the early 90s. Wish I could remember the name of the fella who played steel and dobro, he is very good also.

What a great talent in Steve Warner! Love his pickin and singin... Also got the Great country Joey Schmidt on the piano. Keith Whitley's former keyboard player, or as he used to say, from the country music capital of the world, Napoleon North Dakota, country Joey Schmidt. Also so sad to see Tom t hall, bless his heart for leaving the world the way he did. Great video though, thanks so much for posting.

Larry McDonald There are several entertainers that say he is from Ky. Yes he was from Ind. I knew him from a young guy abt age 19-20 and worked with Dottie West, and worked on many shows my husband promoted in the 70’s, and one of the sweetest kids I knew.
@timothyforsythe31554 жыл бұрын
You are 100% right but he had Ky. Roots. I once lived in Russell Springs Ky his parents lived there. His tour bus was in there driveway many times.
