Can we PLEASE have a WHOLE course on rhythm as it relates to improvisation? Pretty Please? I am teaching a lesson on the inherent rhythm and musicality in language as part of an intro to James Baldwin's short story, "Sonny's Blues." Rhythm is EVERYTHING. You all even did a You'll Hear It about rhythm. So... why not make a whole course dedicated to the art of rhythm for us non-drummer drummers who play a horn or piano? My amateur jazz guitar brethren, you know you NEED a course on rhythm as well. Please?
