Steve, your demos look great. You lack the arrogant, belittling quality (or in some cases extreme other worldliness) that so many horse professionals have. You also don't tell people they have to buy hundreds of dollars worth of DVDs or be "certified" to understand your method. You're honest, in the moment, and you're there to help the horse and rider, not puff up your ego. Please stay humble, patient, and never stop having fun ☺

Fun video! I’ve started babies who are now 17 and 18 yrs old and lovely, and adopted some fantastic troubled souls deemed dangerous who became my soulmates. Now I have a youngster I got at 9 mos, and as a yearling Shire cross he is huge! Your videos have helped me sooo much teach him about my space, walking with me and not barging or bolting ( just baby stuff). Picking up his feet, staying out of the inner stall while I feed him and not coming in til I say it’s ok,head down, disconnecting hindquarters etc. it’s a challenge to keep that big head out of my face so I just hug him and rub his face and hug some more to give him that contact that he needs but on my terms…that’s hard. I wish you were in Oregon! He won’t be ready for me to back him until I’m 70! Yikes! There is a very troubled big horse next to him whose owner won’t have a thing to do with him because she bought him as a green rider and he has no trust in humans ..he needs help. She just bought another horse and is dumping him! If you are ever in the US, specifically Oregon… 😁well…you are so needed !
