Epic session, fantastic photography too . The mutual respect you have and give out is heart warming Steve , you and Joan must be welcome in so many countries. Proud to be angling in an era where you've blessed our screens with some breath taking trips. Tight Lines fella 🤞🎣🤞and may the Carp Gods continue blessing you and Joan on your travels. Steve M

Thanks Steve! Most of the trips we go on are to meet up with friends that we've met over the years in different countries and it is a nice part of what we do keeping in touch and fishing with old friends.

I think I've asked something similar in the past. I'd love to listen to you talking about your time on the tip lake, etc... I know I'd listen to you reciting "the good old days".

Yes Meik was so generous putting me on the best spots on the first lake, so I was really pleased when he got those fish, especially the big one.

Yes it's a lesson for the future to make sure I try to get stuff on film - I wasn't going to film anything on there and it would've been a shame to not have some sort of record of all those crackers.

Another great vid and session Steve, well done! I've just returned from France (Croix Blanche) and managed 28 fish to 47lb using your slip D rig with double tiger on, the hook holds are immense!
@stevebriggs463811 ай бұрын
Great result!!! Glad the Slip D did the job 👍👍🎣

There's not much you don't know about catching carp mate ! Massive respect to Joan and yourself keep the good work up 👌👍to add to that I've fished for carp for almost 30 odd years off/on and there's only a small percentage of anglers who have achieved what you have achieved, exceptional mate 👌

I really don't understand this so called ban in tiger nuts......yet every celebrity angler is caving it in with them plus the tiger nut particles on top etc! Have a feeling its all to make the average angler buy "company boilie" whilst their "testers" are caving in tiger nut! Anyway....rant over lol nice blog as always Steve....living the dream everyday.
@stevebriggs463811 ай бұрын
Not sure I understand really😆 don’t know many places where they’re banned and I don’t see how using tiger nuts can make anyone buy boilies?! I just use what I think is best to catch on and nothing more than that really. But cheers 👍👍

Looking to go public lake in france in february steve any tips at all on lakes or how to approach?
@stevebriggs463811 ай бұрын
Try and find some that have a track record for producing at that time of year, some areas will be very cold at that time. Just keep working to get on fish and move if you don’t feel you’re on them.
