Man you guys really gotta learn bout this guy, one of the best footballers in history. Never won the title with Liverpool cause the teams he played in were shit for decades, singlehandedly kept the club up. Best player in Liverpool's history.

Luis Leal The only Midfielder in history to have high goals and impressive defensive stats at the same time, with the least amount of talent in a team, and the only one to defeat the biggest team ever assembled on earth, and he contributed 1 goal and 1 assist. A feat even Messi can’t beat except for number of goals and assist, because Gerrard scored just a little bit less important goals than Messi and CR9.

@@samswinton4687 You've got a great manager in Gerrard and a perfect fit. He was always a battler on the pitch, but he also became a great tactician. His running and passing were phenomenal too not just his shooting. The players under him now will benefit from his experience, and his attitude is contagious. He will be there a few years yet, he would only leave Rangers for the Liverpool job or maybe the England job but loyalty is a rare thing in football though Gerrard has it in bounds. You think his team was good this season? Next year they will be better, he won't let them go backwards.

Gerrard is without a doubt the 3rd best center midfielder in history of Prem league which started from the early 90s... The top was always contested between Scholes and Lampard and you should check both of them out.
