3 жыл бұрынEngalnd v Brazil 1-1 2007 with England playing its first ever match at the new Wembley. With Owen Hargreaves out, Gerrard played in the DM role and he was superb. Won MOTM up against the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho, Robinho etc kept them all quiet throughout the game and throughly deserved his man of the match award.

He was beber phenomenal for England and certainly not in 2007 that's the year England failed to qualify for Euro2008 and he was poor particularly for the last 2 crucial games both losses.

Filling in at DM and was still better than most players.

Gerrard could play easily in every midfield role. Holding Midfielder, Deep-Lying Playmaker, Central Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder, Wide/Side Midfielder, Wing-Back. He wasn't a world class player only as side midfielder - and even there he could perform very well.
