Not true in my case. I was a meth addict for 3 years when I lived in LA. I quit then moved to Bali Indonesia. I relapsed once but that was the only time. Moving to a new place gave me the chance to reinvent myself. I don't even recognize who I was 11 years ago and certainly would never be friends with the backstabbers I surrounded myself with in my drug addict days

This channel has definitely opened my eyes about addiction, drug use, alcoholism and the likes. It made me realize that these people don't mean harm in their lives nor do they want to hurt the ones that they love. They just needed help and thankfully, the stories that you share end up with wonderful results. Great job to Steven and his amazing progress! Keep up the good work guys!

Steven, Thank you so very much for sharing your story with the world. The disease of addiction is a cruel disease, I like it to being the devil. It wants us on our knees, begging for relief, only to find we’re on a treadmill going no where. My last day in active addiction was so bad, I almost ended up going to jail, but for some odd reason the cop’s let me go. I honestly think it was my higher power working on my behalf. I went into rehab to save my marriage, but I stayed to save me! If I didn’t get real with myself, I know I would have left rehab and relapsed. I thank God that I stayed for myself and not just to save my marriage. You didn’t say how long you have been in recovery, but even though I haven’t used in 25+ years, I only have today, that’s all any of us have, is just today! Yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery, all we have is TODAY!! God Bless and have a nice day!!😃

I grew up in a drug household. My uncle lit my first pipe for me. I'm 27 and making 55000 a year at a job I love and somehow scored a hot wife. I'm losing my nice body I worked hard for. It's getting real. Nobody outside my family knows. Not even my wife. I have so much potential... I'm at my crossroads right now.. somebody please motivate me before I hit my lowest rock bottom.

Get help! Get help now! Being on meth, we're ticking time bombs. Think about everyone and everything you hold dear and understand this: meth is the enemy to your happiness. Not just meth, but the disease of addiction. I'm getting again after i recent relapse. It's not easy but I focus more on the positives that are happening in my life [covid 19 aside]...i have an amazing support system. I still have my work. I live in a Recovery house which helps keep me accountable. A primary reason why i couldn't hide my relapse. And I'm grateful for it. Otherwise, I'd just be drifting. Fighting to hold on to my life as is, but drifting. What we feed is what will grow. There's no shame in admitting you have a problem and getting the help you need. This is your life bro!
