I have no idea how Steven's life has been, but this video and song and album feels a lot like finally reaching some sort of light after years and years of sadness and depression. I was pretty miserable and took a lot of meds all through The raven that refused to sing and Hand cannot erase-years, but this autumn could more or less be the best time I've had in forever, and this song and album feels like it represents that for me. I just wanted to say out of the 5000 + albums I have this one is near the top, porcupine tree fans crticise it but it's got amazing studio production, great tunes which cover many genres and really great songwriting/musicianship. Give it a listen from start to finish onna good system.... who cares if there's 2 pop tuned, it's balanced out and a full spectrum album . Thanks Steve .

I have never encountered a piece by Steven Wilson that has failed to enthral me. There is a magnificence about his music that touches my soul. Fat, satisfying chords, pleasing progressions, haunting vocals, beautiful harmonies and lest we should perhaps forget his genius, the masterpieces keep coming. Bravo Mr Wilson, you truly are a master of your art.

One of the best songs in the album, and the video is very fitting! The locations are gorgeous, and Steven looks kind of awkward doing those poses, but in the cutest possible way (maybe it's the shoes?). In general the vibe suits the melody, the dessert is the perfect scenario, and the buildings around enhance the loneliness but with a certain awe at human structures. It captures the concept of the song so well. Love it!

This music video has an old-school MV quality to it. Maybe because the whole MV is of Steven Wilson, walking around, looking at things at a place and moving his arms around, and occasionally holding a guitar. Loved the song and love Wilson.
