the shoes are dedicated to Keith Hufnagel the founder of HUF. his favorite city’s were NYC(where he was born) and SF where he hung around with a lot of talented skaters/also was the birthplace of the OG HUF store. He was a real special one. RIP Keith Hufnagel 1974-2020🕊

The shoes don’t just pay homage to sf and ny….it’s homage to Keith the owner and creator of huf, may he rest in peace. The sf pair represents his career in sf and the huf store located there as it was his first location to open. NY represents his home grounds. :)

I saw a Private Selection video where they did the same thing with the Nike SB Jarritos and they look pretty dope he did a pretty good job at cutting them out to make like a little style so you can see what was underneath but they didn't like officially announced that there was something underneath so he was literally just cutting into them taking the chance that there was something underneath and it turned out there was just a completely different color which I thought was pretty cool
