Ngl at first I thought the humour was a little too over the top self aware, then I realised that these are robots who are programmed to be repetitive archetypes and suddenly I had a much deeper love for the dialogue. That being said it’s still funny as hell.

Liam Vickers knows what he is doing when he writes his stories/characters And Glitch Productions is an inspiration on how they started Also Liam Vickers voice acting is almost always top-notch and somehow real professional studios can’t match it

Most likely the whole "you know who death" and how certain members of the community have taken it a certain way, and he'd be exposed to the toxicity as a result. it's why I've been requesting Meta Runner and not Sunset Paradise, so as not to get Steven involved with drama

If you ever decide to check out any of their other shows TAKE CAUTION because one of them, Sunset Paradise, is directly connected to the world and story of SMG4. Their other show, Meta Runner, only has a few references to SMG4, so you can probably just watch that at any given point.

That... was... EPIC! The animation was of official quality and I really got involved with it. 2 notes. 1. They are not on Earth. That planet has rings and 2 moons, one also having rings. (They also mention in the intro they were on another planet.) 2. The way the father acted when his daughter was pinned by the Killer Droid has made me skeptical of his claim that he put his wife out of her misery when she was attacked with acid. Either he was extremely traumatized by the event [of his wife's death] OR he's a coward who couldn't kill anyone.

I disagree about the second one (although he is a bit of a coward). He just doesn’t trust his daughter at all, and doesn’t think that the railgun will work, so he sacrifices her and closes the door.

there are some way to somewhat protec sytems from an emp it's probably just a weak one but the worker drone probably have zero resistance to it unlike the disasembly drone

They're not in fact on Earth, it's a mining colony. or a former mining colony specifically. an exo-planet that in all likelihood originally had an environment similar to Earths own. But yeah first time watching i was a bit confused too, had to rewatch and pay closer attention to the exposition at the start.
