Steve, I am going to put myself out there (KZfaq) and tell you that you are an amazing person. What I see you doing is working to be a role model and being an example of what you need to do to not only be a man but be a better human being. I see several people put you down such as T.I., George Lopez and D.L. and they don't do anything to make things better other than run their big mouths. Listen, I know what it is like to be discriminated against, made fun of, bullied, laughed at but that doesn't give me the right to continue to be bitter and hold all the crap in. I am a Desert Storm USAF veteran and support what you do for these kids and your uplifting videos. Keep doing what you're doing and don't worry about the haters. We have enough haters as it is now a days.

Not every family has the same privileges or circumstances, so we all help each other out and give what we have and take what we need! And that's how we love our fellow man! Did you hear what that kid said, "it feels good to work hard". I wish parents and adults realized this, that the best thing you can do for your kid is to discipline them and make them work hard. It's not abusive, it gives kids a sense of worth, it makes them feel like they have a purpose. Sadly single mothers are usually the ones that just can not do that to their kids, and they could never take the place of a male figure anyways. The father is so important. What an amazing camp, it is exactly what young boys need. We have an epidemic of fatherless boys :(

This so awesome!!!! Steve you are a true testament for what a man should be and for that I would love to say "THANK YOU". My kids and I watch you all the time and we always leave with a lot of happiness, inspiration, , and so uplifted. I mean with all the funny clips we leave with lots of joy. Now with the serious discussions we always leave with knowledge, from when you speak on hard work, relationships, perseverance and for that I adore, love but more so respect the man that you are today. “I think they do this because...uh I don’t know why” I think everyone should serve for 2-4 years. Those that can’t, should do peace corps or something. If Blind people can make those uniforms there shouldn’t be too many who can’t contribute to country.

Two things I'm glad to see that it's not just for black young teens @11 @38 and I'm also glad that you have a counselor @2:54 who's not African American. But I would love to see you have a female, maybe in the service be part of your crew bc those young boys need to know how to receive from a women when they grow older in a work place since a lot of women are become supervisors and managers.

I think something like this needs to be long term like hahahaa like take place every weekend be part of every day for atleast 2 hours these children boys especially need some serious structure am getting my house in order and i am married with a good husband its still challenging so i could only imagine what it could be like for some single mothers. This parenting ting aint no joke i love my boys and i want the best for them... my mom always told me you put into your children what you get out what am realizing is they also need others a mom and father cant be the only ones
