I’m 20 currently but when I was a little kid I would always listen to Scott and Todd and thought it was the funniest thing, eventually I grew up and started listening to O&A and it makes it even funnier to me hearing them trash Scott and Todd because it’s such a perfect encapsulation of how things can completely flip over as your grow up and your taste in shit changes

@@Hilder78 Sam can take a joke though, & he doesn't try to sabotage the whole show because he's insecure. Though I'm not crazy about Sam's dramatic pauses, & his geeky voice, with a mouth full of saliva like a nerdy Simpsons character. I prefer Sam over Opie for sure, because I grew up with an Opie of my own, there's no pleasing Opie types because they are impossibly insecure & jealous

We get it Opie: YOURE STILL BITTER!!!! Thats my only nit pick when they do Scott and Todd Jocktober is it always devolves into Opie killing the pace so he can complain about how those guys are still in one of the top radio markets, and yet he and his show got kicked off terrestrial numerous times and hes stuck on XM (and he can spin it all he wants, but thats a step down in radio). We get it, you still have professional bitterness after all these years. Either get over it or quit.

It's the 2008 one. I don't think it was a jocktober, they just happened to bring it up. Insightful Patrice was the one to call out that Scott was trying to get some jokes and topics going, but Todd kept shutting him down.

Opie grinding a good time to a screeching halt with his radio business lamenting. Through out this entire Scott and Todd series opie sees it as an opportunity to “flex” his experience in radio. And his reluctance to bash Todd is because Opie was jealous of Scott. Typical oblivious Greggshells was the last to acknowledge Todd’s extreme hackery
