They can't stand that she was born to be a star and still shining at 74. Lindsey is a musical genius but I don't consider him a star. He is a powerhouse performer in his own right and Christine was too and excellent songwriters...no doubt. But Stevie was the storyteller and image that made Fleetwood Mac shoot to success. However, you couldn't take any member out and still have that kind of band. It needed all 5 members for the magic. Without Stevie, the band would have probably had a couple of hits in the 70s but would have faded out in the early 80s. They wouldn't have been as successful as they were with Stevie. Their album TIME proved that.

How true it is, and it does suck when it doesn't matter how you feel - you still have to do your job and give yourself entirely to it. @@normandesmon5927 Your comment and the original post from Cindy on my favorite comments on here. I am a huge Farrah & Stevie fan. As far as the vocal style/tone being similar, I don’t know if this would make a difference or not, but I’m just throwing it out there, it is well known that they both did coke. Even though it is more hush-hush with Farah, insiders who were friends with her, said it was a well-known fact in the industry. Supposedly it was also the reason she had that drastic nose job at the end of her career. If you watch the Farrah Playboy video: “all of me“ it is very apparent he is snorting coke Throughout that entire production and video shoot. I love her, and I love Stevie, but all humans Have battles they face. I love them anyway

The reason Stevie Nicks seems so different as well as captivating to most people is because she is an INFJ in the Myers-Briggs personality system. INFJs are the most rare of all the types. I believe only 1% of the population are INFJs. INFJ stands for Introvert, Intuitor (meaning she's extremely intuitive), Feeler (meaning she makes decisions based on her feelings and values rather than cold logic like us Thinkers who are on the other end of the decision-making spectrum) and Judger (meaning she is likes structure and to get things accomplished and make decisions quickly most of the time as opposed to Perceivers who are mostly open-ended in their approach to the world and less productive). It's the combination of her high-level intuition, introversion and feeling that makes her so unique, creative, eccentric and special. Intuitors in general are uncommon, only making up about 25% of the population while the other 75% are instead Sensors (taking in info mostly via their physical world rather than using intuition like the intuitors). So we intuitors are usually viewed as somewhat weird. I am an INTJ so I get that from people as well. Anyway, back to Stevie. INFJs tend to be the most adored of all the 16 personality types due to their intelligence, creativity, warmth, charm and charisma, strong values and passion. My Mom was an INFJ and my first girlfriend who I fell in love with was also an INFJ, so I know them well. Fascinating types!

I spent the entire fucking decade of the 90's coked out and drinking whiskey ect ect.. How do you know this? Because I just told you. And so did Stevie..let it go folks. It never really shadowed her talent. I'm happy she has accomplished so much in spite of herself.

Well, Nicks comes staggering out, came to the mic, fell to her knees and had to be dragged offstage by roadies and stage hands and she screamed out profanity after profanity. She never came back. But then that scared feeling went away because Stevie was so far gone with her addiction that Jimmy Iovine literally walked out before her third album Rock Alittle was even completed...

I must second that thought, this is truly a wonderful interview. Does anyone have the interview Stevie did with Molly Meldrum (Australia) it was shown on the Meldrum tapes in the 80's. It was filmed in his home and it was a long interview from the Rock a little era?

My favorite part of this clip is the old ABC Monday Night Movie title at the beginning. Is that wrong?

Well the album was made. And they became a couple. I think anyone can see that Stevie is high and not just tired during this interview. But she says really great things about her own work and also about touring. I love her regardless. It isn't for nothing she is the real Queen of Rock. She is really special. She continues to do her music. And that she wrote a lot of her best songs so early is something to admire.
