Let's be honest-she can still sell stadiums and perform and sing live-nobody sounds same at 76 that you did when you were 27 😊

I hope she never does...totally loving this! Still rocking it. The sound of the recording ain't great, all high frequencies are gone. I'm sure it was fantastic live!!

Was thinking about going to see her. Not anymore. She is a great writer and singer, but when it comes to live performances, it's "time to pick up the pieces and go home".

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. Objectively, she never really had a lot of range in her voice, but her style and songs always worked beautifully and she's definitely a hall of famer (well deserved). However, she has clearly lost some of what range she did have, which can be expected from someone who is 76 years old and used to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day. I used to be a decent singer, until I hit my mid 40's and the 30 years of smoking caught up with me.

Shes pretty much the same as she always was. Always has been pitchy. I love her.

You seem to forget she is 75 what you expected her voice to be the same?
@goinbzurk2 ай бұрын
@@LisbethOwen Didn't foget! It's about quality, not just wanting to perform! If I'm paying almost 100 bucks for a concert I want to know the performer is capable of giving me my monies worth! I Really love her writing and her voice was good for what she did, but it's also about knowing when you don't have the chops anymore.. Why stay too long and ruin your legacy?

Stevie is pure magic and a lyrical witch-it doesn't matter how old she is. This is her craft. She will always be the Queen of rock n roll for me. ❤

Is it just me, or did she come out onto stage already wasted? She does NOT look good.

She lost many people in her band and close to her. My son lost 5 friends to cancer from the ages 10-15. I wish he would have released the Grief before his teens. Y'all Grief, menopause and life illnesses hit at weird and unspecific times. She will realize what works and what doesn't. Either way she has a career that has earned her the right to do whatever she wants to now. Be kind & have patience your world will still spin.
