This man is genius. The vocal twist and turns he does are not human. What he does vocally between 2.38 minutes and 2.50 minutes are out of this world. Bless you Mr. Wonder hope you live forever.

Came back again for the magic starting at 2:44-2:52. Stevie came out of that run so smooth and effortless, and I'll bet he made it up in that very moment...cuz that's what geniuses do. #respect

Oh no doubt he came up with that in the moment. But like you said, it was genius the way he came out of that. It was very intricate. His intonation is out of rhis world.

Stevie wrote this song while still a teenager! I think it was during the same time that he and Morris Broadnax (the co-writer) wrote "Until You Come Back to Me" which Aretha Franklin recorded... "All I Do" was originally recorded by Tammi Terrell as a solo artist (no Marvin)... STEVIE WAS A TEENAGER WHEN HE WROTE THIS!!! WOW!!!

I love this tune and I remember when this album came out to make up for Secret Life Of Plants. I still think he should have released both albums in the same year to keep his fans buzzing from the Key of Life album. If he had done this, Hotter Than July would be considered along with the other albums in the 70's.

Greg, is this the apology you’re referring to? Living this way for years? This has been my favorite song for years. This is how I live. I’m sorry. No apology will suffice if you think I’ll magically be forgiven by saying it though. But if you give me the chance, then I can at least spend these years living this way _with_ you and making it up to you. I DO love you, I’ve always loved you. I love you soo much that I wanted to make sure there would be no room for a failure between us cause you’re the one I want and want it to be for forever.

The translation from Serbian is wrong, the group was named after the song Gino Vanelli Mama Coco. Even then, Steve enjoyed great popularity in Serbia (70 and 80 years), and there was very little media for world hits.
