Mariah Carey was honored with her 6th Grammy, her first since 2006, at last nights Grammys event presented by The Black Music Collective. She was honored with the Global Impact Award along with Lenny Kravitz. Stevie Wonder, Mariah’s personal favorite musician, presented her with the honor and serenaded her with his classic “All I Do.”

That tribute was Mariah’s best vocal performance, in my opinion. Stevie has the best ears in the industry. She understood the assignment and passed with flying colors. Her lower register was LOW and clear. She made his song sound so unique. You could tell he was impressed.

I love Stevie Wonder. His songs are so beautiful and addictive! I was a teenager in the 80s and when I first heard Ribbon in the Sky on the radio. I was so enarmoured by that song and couldn’t get enough! He is so so talented w his incredible voice, as a musician and beautiful lyrical songwriting. No wonder Mariah Carey adores and looks up to him.

Just look at 3:18, Mariah obviously did not see what Stevie Wonder is doing at the back yet people attack her AGAIN because she didnt get the microphone. The angel of the other video makes it look like they are near but she is already facing at the other mic. Also, some people even said she tried to remove Stevies hand when Stevie held onto her for a moment but it actually looks like she was trying to reach out to his hand but he already let go of her shoulder.

It was truly an honest mistake. Why would Mariah 'expect' Stevie to do that to her? She probably didn't notice it. Also, why would she wait for Stevie to hand her the mic when there's a mic at the center?
