Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Stevie Wonder was a child prodigy who signed with Motown at the age of 11, where he was given the professional name "Little Stevie Wonder". He covered many genres of music such as R&B, pop, soul, gospel, funk & jazz. Lots of great songs such as "Uptight (Everything's Alright)", "I Was Made To Love Her", "For Once In My Life", "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours", "I Just Called To say I Love You", "My Cherie Amour", "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life", "Higher Ground", "Living For The City", "Sir Duke", "Isn't She Lovely?" etc.

As a teenager, when I first heard it, I was both confused and fascinated at the same time; After listening to it multiple times, it became a masterpiece. Stevie delivers four brilliant albums in a row, my favorite being Innervision (the whole album a must): no skip song, so musically versatily and a street anthem Living In The City. Keep up going!!!

Man - what a great song. I can't remember ever *not* knowing this song - Stevie Wonder was everywhere when I was a kid in the 70s. He's a monster, huge catalogue going back to the 60s. The 70s are my favorite. You probably know he's blind - what would amaze you is how much of this song he played - as in, most of it, all kinds of instruments. He's unbelievable. So many amazing songs.

So happy you reacted to Stevie! He's got so many incredible songs. My favorite is "Signed Sealed Delivered." I also love "My Cherie Amour," "I Was Made To Love Her," "Master Blaster," which is a reggae song, "You Are the Sunshine Of My Life," and there are SO many more. I saw him in concert once in Madison Square Garden. He split the sold out crowd in 3 sections, taught us notes to sing, and he had the Garden singing 3 part harmony!!!

For 20 years, it seemed Stevie was ALWAYS had a song or two on the radio, sometimes two or three. He usually played all the instruments himself. Paul Simon, upon winning album of the year in the 70s, thanked Stevie for not releasing an album that year.

One of my favorite songs. "Higher Ground", "Living For The City", "Don't You Worry About A Thing", "All In Love Is Fair" are just a few of his many many hits. He was 11 when he started and had his first hit single "Fingertips" in 1963.

Stevie's sound has varied over such a long career but it's all been great. Another huge hit song from his seventies funk period is "Higher Ground" from 1973. "You Haven't Done Nothin'" from 1974 was also huge and funky, as was "I Wish" from 1976. In my opinion, his funkiest song from this period is "Maybe Your Baby" from 1972, but it was never released as a single. This is just a small sampling of his seventies output. He did many other styles from the early sixties onward, all worth a listen.

Stevie is a musical genius, prolific songwriter (huge catalog) and lifelong human rights activist. His song to Dr Martin Luther King played a huge part in the federal holiday finally being created. I had the honor of seeing him in concert playing two keyboards at one time on a round stool with wheels, then he had to wait for assistance to be led off the stage and we were reminded, the man is blind. 😳😖😍 genius doesn't really cover it.

I think Stevie originally handed the song ver to Jeff Beck who recorded it with his power trio Beck, Bogert, and Appice. Stevie decided to do,his own version at the same time. Beck was a big fan of the Funk Brothers-the Motown classic studio band who famously asked where are the dots. The band was accustomed to charts when playing.

Stevie had many pop hits in the '60's and early '70's, but the two albums, Talking Book and Innervisions, were much more experimental/innovative and very much in keeping with the times. He remains active and relevant to this day, and has a huge catalogue, many of which you know but may not know he wrote.

Simply put, Stevie is just next level, amazing artist. Higher Ground is a banger man. I believe Beck and Page played together for a year or part of a year. Clapton played with the Yardbirds for about 2 years before them. They all started their careers with the band.

Album of the year Grammy 1974, 1975, and 1977. Paul Simon, who won in 1976, thanked Stevie for not releasing an album that year. Total of 25 career Grammys including Lifetime Achievement Award, more than 90 Grammy nominations, went blind as an infant. Self taught on multiple instruments as a child. Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree, multiple honorary college degrees, making hits since 1962. He's a genius.

Great reaction! I love Stevie Wonder he's got such a legendary sound. His vocals are so unique, when he starts to sing you instantly know who is singing...truly beautiful stuff, bro. Her's another suggestion, if interested. But this time this has two legends singing together. "Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles - Living For The City (Live)" (by the channel: Black to the Music - Radioshow) --Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder often collaborated together, and one of their most famous collaborations, is this performance I've suggested. Ray Charles was a major influence on Stevie Wonder, he even said Ray Charles was his biggest influence. He even recorded a tribute album to Charles called "A Tribute to Uncle Ray." peace out~
