The Lady at 4:26 is Damita Jo Freeman who also danced on American Bandstnad and was in The Movie & TV Version of Private Benjamin and would later choreograph the 1984 Olympics when it was in Los Angeles.

You also have to remember that Soul Train had been on the air for about Two Years and the Folks who danced on The Show grew up during the Burgeoning Civil Rights Movement. This was during The Black Is Beautiful Movement. Soul Train got it's start in Chicago, Ill after a Local Kids Dance Show called Kiddie A Go Go was popular and Don Cornelius a former DJ who worked closely with The Jackson Five in the early days of their career felt there were alot of Black Artists who weren't asked to do American Bandstand so thus Soul Train started in Chicago then moved to LA. Also there's no way Marvin Gaye could have sung Let's Get It On, or Curtis Mayfield singing about "Freddy's Dead". Alot of folks of the caucasian persuasion were also fins of the show. Bill Clinton, Former President and his Wife Hilary & Daughter Chelsea, Danny Bonaduce (The Partridge Family) Tom Cruise, and John Travolta later admitted alto of the Dance Moves he did in Saturday Night Fever came from Soul Train too. Darnell Williams "Danced" on The Show before playing Jesse on All My Children and Shemar Moore Moonlighted as The Host on Weekends while playing Malcolm Winters.

Superstition always a good pick. So much from Stevie Wonder to go through.

Superstition/superstitious, maybe you were searching for "I ain't superstitious" Jeff Beck. Yes little Stevie the music prodigy. Absolutely great funky tune, to get down to.. Though it's not considered funk, in music terms. But man it doesn't get any funkier. To bad disco started, I'm going to get hated on for that. But a little controversy does stimulate interest. Great reaction.
