You shouldn’t take everything so literally. Working is not just about supplying some awful elite and gaining a vew dollars for ‘happiness’. It’s about doing normal work that supplies society with all sorts of useful things and yourself with 3 meals per day as well as many more good things like a house and maybe some more. These videos make it all so simple, while it far from that simple. And it’s way easier to see that it you find joy in your work. Maybe try to find more joy in your work. Work every day to become a stronger human being. Focus on getting stronger in solving your problems and most importantly, focus on the real things that matter in life like family, friends, nature en love.

@@Victor-07-04 It is essential to recognize that society has become more important than any single individual, and the development of industrial society has significantly influenced our concept of freedom. The advancements in industry and technology have provided a framework for a stable and functioning society, where the collective well-being is prioritized over individual desires. This shift has led to the creation of a system that supplies society with a plethora of essential goods and services, ensuring that basic needs like food, shelter, and healthcare are met. However, the very structure of this industrial society has, in many ways, curtailed personal freedoms. The demands of the industrial system require conformity to its rules and norms, often at the expense of individual expression and autonomy. Those who resist or fail to conform to these societal expectations frequently find themselves marginalized or in need of interventions such as medication to cope with the pressures of conformity.

There is more to life than this. You're not the only human being that exists, and people around you aren't "NPCs". This doesn't have to be reality. There is more than endless greed, people can be kind, and the life this talks about is the life of capitalism-with colonialism at its core. Don't go in thinking that everything has to be this way. This is a cynical view of the world: and billionaires will do this kind of thing to constantly bring people down and think there is nothing they can do to make things better. They want us to lose hope so we don't remember there's billiions of us and only hundreds of them. Regardless, we aren't just singular people. People other than you exist, and that is the best thing about life. You are not alone. Please, please don't let this take away your hope in a future where everyone can be happy. There is happiness. Don't let them teach you that there isn't. Buy locally. Respect the disabled people around you. Try to change your community. Grow a garden. Play your favorite games with friends. Remember piracy exists. Don't believe the stereotypes you read from white people about everyone else around you.

Christians don't believe in Allah. if i'm not wrong, there's no trinity in the Islamic religion like in Christianity. that's what makes Christianity distinctive. and also, what if they're _not_ religious?? in my opinion the first reply about Allah felt very out of place. and i'm not sure what God u mean in ur comment since the terms God and Allah both mean the same thing. people can find happiness in their own ways. many choose to seek higher powers like God. others practice healthy lifestyles. so saying God is the only way to happiness is a very narrow minded way of thinking. not to sound harsh or anything, but that's just my two cents. 🤷 edit: i'm a Christian, but i don't force my religion on others. doesn't matter what religion, pushing ur religion on others is a scumbag thing to do, especially for selfish reasons.

brother, I am an engineer too. Please, do not feel disheartened. Happiness comes through the fact that no matter what is happening you always have a choice. Being an engineer might have been bestowed upon you but in every moment you have a choice to get out of it. Of course, you have to face the consequences of your choices but it all ends in death, no matter what you do the end state cannot be changed. Even when you die fearing hell, you won't be there to experience it, at least not as you. So how to be happy? Just change your perspective.... When you feel no stimulation, like when you are meditating......there is a type of meditation where you sit and try to feel everything, the frustration, sadness, happiness....whatever you are feeling during meditation you explore that feeling till you exhaust all the feelings to feel and you cannot feel anything further. After getting up from this kind of meditation you will welcome all sorts of experiences.... even pain......to some extent. Because the absence of any feeling is worse than bad feelings. This would not mean death is bad.....because if there is no one to feel there wouldn't be anyone to feel the absence of feeling.

It doesn't symbolize anything related to software/technology or engineering. Rather, it is an example of burden of overwork and the pursuit of materialism which causes one to be bound to one's workspace and spares one with little room to relax or enjoy.
